Journal Entry: April 23, 2023 - Iba Ward Conference

April 23, 2023 - in IBA Stake Center,

This day was the IBA Ward Conference of IBA Philippines Stake. And of course we're one of the stake leaders to support the conference. I was actually assigned as a closing prayer. So, I did. 🤣

The topics were great and most of the speakers talk about most experiences that they have in making a right choice.

Jasher's knee was Swelling.
Looks like there's something on it inside

After the conference my wife and I ask Jasher of what he felt on his knees. He barely can't bend it so it's difficult to walk straight as we observed his situations. President Torio saw us as we talk to Jasher, and he felt an impression to take our son to the hospital so he could take some medicine for his knee of whatsoever it was.

Me and my Son Jasher took some pictures outside IBA Stake Center.

So without any delay, we rush to the hospital and ask for a medication that will heal Jasher's wound. As I look up to life experiences thinking about the same thing in it

It was actually the same day where one of my wife's relative ask us to come for a lunch in their New Home. It's a house blessing so they invited us to come.

Some Other Picture with their playmates.

After Lunch, we headed back to the Stake Center for a WSR Education Devotional (PEF, Benson Scholarship Program and other scholarship opportunities for university students) will be conducted at the Stake Center on April 23, (2pm), with Brother Anthony John Balledos (who is my former Stake President in Cebu City Philippines Stake) Everyone were invited to attend and there we are with our Children with us.
Brother Anthony John Balledos introducing
the program to some IBA Stake leaders
attending the Devotional.

Some other Slides.
They also introduce some government program
that we can avail for free.

Question were raised & links about the program

Some other slide, thought my phone didn't capture it clearly.

Here's part of the exhibit.

My wife and I decided to take some pictures with Brother Balledos.

And with some others in full body Pictures

A picture with some members in Palauig Ward.

This is so memorable even where we had a little time bonding our old memories with them. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Job Bautista's understanding on Revelation 7:2-3

This was one of the selected scriptures of Job Bautista that proves Felix Manalo was the Angel prophesied in the Scripture specifically in Revelations 7:2-3. Okay, so does it really mean a fulfillment of the Philippine Religion? Let's Find out.
A response from Job Bautista to my simple Question.

Okay, so let's ask the scripture if this was all about it. First things first. What is the context all about?

Revelation 7 John made revelatory words about the upcoming events of the chosen people of God, The Angel that warned of Catastrophic events marked by the Angels of Destruction and about the sealing of the chosen 144,000 tribes of Israel were divided into 12 groups. Was this all about Felix Manalo and their so-called fulfilled prophecy? If so, then the question was -

"When did Manalo WARN these four angels from every corner to stop the destruction or catastrophe?"

Job Bautista: Information Mislead his Understanding - Part 1

This classic criticism from a Friend who was a member of a filipino church called INC, were he were so proud about it. He made a criticism of something he knew from a selected source, or we simply call it from his cheery-picked ideology. Let's see what we can find helpful and to think this was a doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ. Alright so the screen shot below was his comments and I'll make a response after it -

From a facebook Post where he deleted my comments.
He even accuse me deleting his comments,
while I don't have even an access of his personal comments section, where

Okay so let's make a response of his study where he think this was the church they invented or as they claimed to be that Christ stablish in Philippines. Let's see about that. Ok, so here he quoted John 14:16 where Jesus Christ proclaim to his disciples about the other sheep that he had. But actually it was in John 10:16, he actually fail to quote the right verse, but it's okay, we understand it. So here's what he meant -

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Alright Job Bautista, let's deal with it since you didn't read the last article that I brought to you and to your Friend Neil Andi Anderson the last time about this topic (See Here!). Or maybe you don't know how to respond my article about that subject.

So here's the thing and pay attention Job Bautista, and if you understand Biblical terms, the word Sheep describe to those people who follow and knows Christ or in simple term, the believers. And this believers knows his doctrine or teaching, that means this group of unknown people already knows Christ. If you look closely to the Phrase "Other Sheep I have" didn't said anything on the future or the past, but rather he said it in Present Tense. Here's the Greek Text to see how it was said -

- John 10:16 Nestle 1904

The word "ἔχω" or "echō" which simply means "I have" in English shows that it is a Verb of Present Indicative Active for a 1st Person Singular. And it suggests that this group of people already existed not in the future. This simply means that this people like John the Baptist, who already exist before Christ made his Ministry. They already knew him and hope to see him in some time as it permits. So, and directly speaking, this is not the Filipino people who has their first conversation soon after they knew Felix Manalo and the Iglesia ni Cristo. That doesn't make sense and that's not even Biblical.

And regarding you arrogant comments about the Church in America, well perhaps we could make a good arrangement to that since it take a lot of matter to be discuss in a single sittings. So I'll link here after I made my commentaries.

And moving forward to your next comment which you arrogantly said about the Church apostles and calling it a cult. I could say nice work on that Christian teachings of INC provoking and arrogance. Here's the good part that you need to know before you post your ignorant about Church History. Here's the list of the chosen twelve and see where you can find Oliver on the list -

The Calling of the Restoration's Original Apostles

Also, Oliver Cowdery was excommunicated for a reason and it's not my problem if your ignorant or to slow to comprehend. I already told you to do some research before doing some copy paste program. Also, where did you get that idea of 22 apostle's, possibly your INC minister who spread gossip on you is unlearned. Ask your minister to keep on studying first before manipulating you and your INC members.

The Foundation, you're not even sure how the scripture said about the foundation of Church. Ephesians 2:20, says this -

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

So, who do you think had it Job Bautista? Does your INC Church follows the biblical standards and requirements to be called as a "TRUE CHURCH" as you claim?

Oh, yes I would love to use that last Scripture you used, and ask you the same good question about it. Who do you think fulfilled the Church of Christ that follow Standards of early Church that Christ built? How can you claim true church without any line of authority, and follow the same standards to organized a religion with Prophets and apostles and etc. as Christ organized.

Never Give Up an Opportunity to Testify of Christ

From General Conference Message, April 2023

This day April 16, 2023. My wife was one of the speakers during our Sacrament Program in Bulawen Branch, and her assigment was all about a conference talk from Sister Bonnie H. Cordon. She did it so well and made a good relevant story from her Past Experience.

I couldn't write some of that her, so I just keep some parts where she quote a conference Message. That says -

"... don’t let the world overtake you! Stay true to your covenants with the Savior. Seek to experience His blessings every day, and be able to testify through the Holy Ghost of His power and presence in your life!"
...
"Our closeness to Christ grows through worshipping frequently in the temple, repenting daily, studying scriptures, attending church and seminary, pondering our patriarchal blessings, worthily receiving ordinances, and honoring sacred covenants. All of these invite the Spirit to enlighten our minds, and they bring added peace and protection. But do we honor them as sacred opportunities to testify of Christ?"

These were some of the nice words that I collected and perhaps a guild for salvation.

We'll missed you, Little kitty

A kitten that was found by my Son Jasher and he don't want to abandon the kitten die in cold and hunger. My wife actually hate kitten but our children wants it to leave and feel protected. I don't know what will happen to the kitten since we don't know how to takes care of it. We don't even know what kind of milk or food that we should give.

My wife got no choice, so we decided to take care of it. My impression actually was it won't survive, because we don't know it's food and it need a mother in it's side to take good care of the kitten. But we still hope it survive at least we have tried every possible way to help the kitten.

While I'm working, my wife calls and said that the kitten seems weak and said that there were some commotions in it's stomach, and also it rarely drink the milk. My thought is now clear that it won't survive that long. My heart was so sad, we did the very best, but it's too late. Later that day, I called them asking how it was. My wife said it passed away and they bury it near our house. My daughter Saraijah mourn for the loss of their cat, but his brother Jasher said, it's okay at least we did our part to take care of the kitten.

My Wife, feeding the Kitten.

This may be a small act of kindness and love though a little time we held the kitten in our ow ln hands to warm it. But the memories were clear, the voice of its cry still echo's in my mind as if it says “you did your part Im gonna missed you.”

That's how life goes, we will missed someone and we mourn but it's all okay as we did our part to be with them. It may not be perfect, but it remains a good memory in showing our love.

Responding Jose Magadia on the Issue of Isles of the Sea and Far East

This is supposed to be a response to Johna Christian Godtah, another INC troll in one of the Group that I joined.

I already made a topic about this the last time, but for the sake of my respond, I'll make this article for them to look up incase they wanted to know how ignorantly they fail to understand Biblical exegesis and Eisegesis. Without further adieu let's get to it -

The God of Israel chose those who would believe and receive eternal life./ Part 1

Address me and the author of the post and made a move of his statement.

Acts 13:48
Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed (ordained) to eternal life believed.

Mr. Jerry Nuñez Bustillo, were LDS appointed to believe and receive eternal life? That would be a BIG NO!

Why?

Because...

God CHOSE Israel not LDS.

Deuteronomy 7:6-6 “For you (Israel) are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐍 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡.

I just don't know how this guy carefully understand the scripture he attempted to throw. Let's try first the scripture he mean on the Acts 13:48. By looking up the context, this was all about the conversion of Gentile after Paul and other early missionary brought to them the Gospel. I don't know how it relates to the issue but I'm thinking he meant this was his stand that the Gospel was supposed to be for INC members or so. Or I think this was all about The spreading of Gospel to Philippines as the chosen nation or people, since it was part of the Gentile nation. I don't know exactly what he mean and this is funny to assume that it was all about just the INC nation and not the rest of the Christian believers. 🤣! Remember, this was an early Missionary Proselyte the Gentile non-believers, Philippines is also a Gentile nation but it is not yet around that time, LOL!

He then provide the question about were LDS members appointed to believe and receive eternal life. Man, I have no clue how this was all about related to the issue. It is irrelevant, that says nothing about the INC of Felix Manalo either, rather it was all about the Gentile's conversion during their ministry.

Quoting Deuteronomy 7:6 is not even related to INC or LDS but was all about God's choicest people or nation which is Israel. It's not about INC church or any other. So, I don't know why you brought this up.

1 Peter 2:9-9 But you are a 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐍 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Quoting this verse also didn't say anything about your religion (the INC). If you want to know the context of this epistle, I encourage you Jose Magadia to read the very first chapter of this book so you may know to whom it was all about. This is a letter of Peter to the Saints (Believers) among Gentile nation, which is actually mentioned in 1 Peter 1:1. So no, it wasn't about the INC at all, but we do agree that this was meant to be a general declarations or teachings which could also be applied to believers ahead of their time. But you can't make a claim that this was all about your religion without taking the context and how it was addressed. Same goes with everyone else who claimed to be as the fulfilment of holy writ while you don't even understand the importance of Priesthood duties and authorities. That won't work Jose Magadia. This will only be fulfiled to those who have authority of Priesthood. Your religion don't have it. If you think you can refute that topic we can have a separate discussion on it.

This is an important prophecy of God to know, the exact location where the CHOSEN PEOPLE, HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE where it will originate in the east, which is far away. As for the MOFFATT'S version, it is already stated in the FAR EAST. What is the nature of this place? It is made up of islands or islets of the sea. (Isaiah 42:10; 24:15; 66;19)

The rest of the version didn't say anything about Far East. There is east and far country which most of the scholars or as obvious as it was in Biblical study where people scattered Mediterranean and some parts of Gentile nations (Not Philippines).

Location of New Israel is the Philippines???

Do you believe that Mr, Jerry Nuñez Bustillo?

Obviously, No! Why should I, and what makes you think I believe on it?

Let's FIND OUT...

Go ahead, you can do every ends of the earth Theory of your ideology. Funny how I mixed words on your doctrinal teachings.

Isaiah 42:10 Holman Christian Standard Bible
A Song of Praise
10 Sing a new song to the Lord;
sing His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea with all that fills it, you 👉ISLANDS👈 with your inhabitants.

Isaiah 24:15 King James Version
15 Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the 👉 LORD GOD OF ISRAEL in the 👉ISLES OF THE SEA.

Isaiah 24:15
Contemporary English Version
15 And so, everyone in the east

Isaiah 66:19 King James Version
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the 👉 ISLES AFAR OFF, THAT HAVE NOT HEARD MY FAME, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

CAN YOU SEE that Mr. Jerry Nuñez Bustillo?!

Yes, I can see how you got mixed up anything out of context by simply selecting the best part of your doctrine. Do you really think it was all about Philippines? As you have said on the first place Israel as the chosen nation, God chose Israel, and yet you want to make your own interpretation in regards to the people of Israel that was scattered or during their exile?  There are isles of the sea somewhere in Polynesia or in Pacific, why not there? How certain are you that there are Israelites or Jews that were scattered in Philippines as the context goes?

Take this as the example of your out of context ideology "ISLES AFAR OFF, THAT HAVE NOT HEARD MY FAME, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles."

Philippines is a Gentile Nation. Which means, the phrase "Isle afar off" is not intended for a Gentile Nation but rather a group of people that were in an exile far land and will soon hear God's call that perhaps will deliver the message to the Gentile (will of course Philippines was one of it a a Gentile nation as I had said).

See, it will just simply conflicts your understanding if you try to insist that Philippines is part of it while it is not yet known, or basically, the preaching was supposed to be from them and then to the Gentile.

👉 the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL...
👉 IN THE ISLES OF THE SEA...

There are isles in the Mediterranean Sea which closely resembles the meaning of the verses. How certain are you that it was all about Philippines while it was unknown in the days of their declaration? I even think Philippines was still in underwater that time. LOL! But seriously, why would they choose Philippines as a promise of Israel's freedom from bondage?

Question:
Did Prophet Isaiah refers the ISLES OF THE SEA is the Salt Lake County in Utah where LDS originated?

Answer: Definitely BIG NO, because Salt Lake County do not fit the nature of the place as a country of group of island where Prophet Isaiah refers to the Country ~ ISLES AFAR OFF at the end of times... WHY? Because Salt Lake County is from the FAR WEST and do not conform to the physical nature of group of Island...

Yes, you're absolutely right, and we never claim that way. And you can't find it that it was all about the LDS doctrine because everyone one knows it's all about the exile, so why would we claim it as in Salt Lake or in Utah Territory. The very reason you got yourself stock to that birds of prey thing and which God did never manifest anything to Felix rather he simply proclaim himself as the one fulfilled but it was not. Your scriptural references has nothing to do with Felix at all and there you are trying to make a claim telling me that you're right in understanding scriptural writtings while the context wasn't all about it.

Please listen carefully Mr. Jerry Nuñez Bustillo...

👇👇👇
Children of the promise are also called Israel (Romans 9:6-8)

Yes, and Philippines is not an Israelites nation. We only adapt the gospel that's why we were called children of Abraham through adaption. So why are you claiming that as fulfilment of your church?

END OF PART 1:
Let's see what will be the part 2 of your biblical understanding.

End Notes Commentary
I added some Commentaries, so it would be fair in his side on the scriptures he used.

Isaiah 42:10
Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

Sing unto the Lord a new song,.... On account of the new things before prophesied of, and now done; on account of redemption and salvation by Christ, and the conversion of the Gentiles through the light of the Gospel brought among them; the song of redeeming love, and for the Gospel, and regenerating grace; and not the Jews only, but the Gentiles also, are called upon to sing this song, as having a special share in the blessings, the subject of it: hence it follows,

and his praise from the end of the earth; thither the Gospel being sent, and there made effectual to the conversion of many, these are exhorted to sing and show forth the praises of him who had called them out of Heathenish blindness and darkness into the marvellous light of the Gospel and grace of God:

ye that go down into the sea; in ships, that trade by sea; such as the Phoenicians, Tyrians, and Sidonians, to whom the Gospel came, and where it was preached with success, to the conversion of many of them, and therefore had reason to join in this new song; see Acts 11:19 or such that went by sea to distant parts, on purpose to publish the Gospel, as Paul, Barnabas, Silas, and Timothy; and who, succeeding in their work, had reason to rejoice; see Acts 13:4,

and all that is therein: or "the fulness of it" (s); meaning not the fishes in it, but the islands of it, as next explained:

the isles, and the inhabitants thereof; as Cyprus, Crete, and other isles, which heard the joyful sound of the Gospel, and embraced it, Acts 13:4, and, as the sea often denotes the western part of the world from Judea, this may design the European parts of it, and the islands in it, particularly ours of Great Britain and Ireland, whither the Gospel came very early.

Isaiah 24:15
Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

Wherefore glorify ye the Lord - The prophet, in this verse, calls upon the people to join in the praise of Yahweh wherever they are scattered. In the previous verse he describes the scattered few who were left in the land, or who had escaped to the adjacent islands in the sea, as celebrating the praises of God where they were. In this verse he calls on all to join in this wherever they were scattered.

In the fires - Margin, 'Valleys.' The Septuagint reads, Ἐν τοῖς νήσοις En tois nēsois - 'In the islands.' The Chaldee, 'Therefore, when light shall come to the just, they shall glorify the Lord.' Lowth supposes that the word: בארים bâ'uriym should have been באיים bâ'iyiym, 'in the islands,' or 'coasts.' But the MSS. do not give authority for this reading; the only authority which Lowth refers to being that of the Septuagint. Other conjectures have been made by others, but all without any authority from MSS. The Hebrew world in the plural form does not occur elsewhere in the Scriptures. The proper signification of the word אור 'ôr is light, and it is applied

(a) to daylight, or daybreak, 1 Samuel 14:36; Nehemiah 8:3;
(b) to light from daybreak to mid-day, Job 24:14;
(c) the sun, Job 31:26; Job 37:21;
(d) light as the emblem of happiness;
(e) light as the emblem of knowledge is also used to denote fire, Ezekiel 5:2; Isaiah 44:16; Isaiah 47:14,

In the plural form it is applied, in connection with the word "Thummim," to the gems or images which were on the breastplate of the high priest, and from which responses were obtained. Exodus 28:30 : 'And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim (האוּרים hâ'ûriym) and the Thummim' (compare Leviticus 8:8; Ezra 2:63). Probably it was thus used to denote the splendor or beauty of the gems there set, or perhaps the light or instruction which was the result of consulting the oracle. The proper meaning of the word is, however, light, and it usually and naturally suggests the idea of the morning light, the aurora; perhaps, also, the northern light, or the aurora borealis. It in no instance means caves, or valleys. Vitringa supposed it referred to caves, and that the address was to the "Troglodytes," or those who had been driven from their homes, and compelled to take up their residence in caves. The word probably refers either to the regions of the morning light, the rising of the sun; or of the northern light, the aurora borealis; and in either case, the reference is doubtless to those who would be carried away to Babylon, and who were called on there by the prophet to glorify God. 'In those regions of light, where the morning dawns; or where the northern skies are illuminated at night, there glorify God' (see the note at Isaiah 14:13). The reasons for this opinion are,
(1) That such is the natural and proper sense of the word. It properly refers to light, and not to caves, to valleys, or to islands.

(2) The parallelism, the construction, demands such an interpretation.

It would then be equivalent to calling on the scattered people to glorify God in the East, and in the West; in the regions of the rising sun and in the coasts of the sea; or wherever they were scattered. And the sense is,

(1) that they should be encouraged to do this by the prospect of a return;

(2) that it was their duty still to do this wherever they were; and

(3) that the worship of the true God would be in fact continued and celebrated, though his people were scattered, and driven to distant lands.

In the isle of the sea - The coasts and islands of the Mediterranean Isaiah 24:14)

Keil and Delitzsch Biblical Commentary on the Old Testament
But a remnant escapes; and this remnant is employed by Jehovah to promote the conversion of the Gentile world and the restoration of Israel. "And I set a sign upon them, and send away those that have escaped from them to the Gentiles to Tarshiish, Phl, and Ld, to the stretchers of the bow, Tbal and Javan - the distant islands that have not heard my fame and have not seen my glory, and they will proclaim my glory among the Gentiles. And they will bring your brethren out of all heathen nations, a sacrifice for Jehovah, upon horses and upon chariots, and upon litters and upon mules and upon dromedaries, to my holy mountain, to Jerusalem, saith Jehovah, as the children of Israel bring the meat-offering in a clear vessel to the house of Jehovah." The majority of commentators understand vesamtı̄ bâhem 'ōth (and I set a sign upon them) as signifying, according to Exodus 10:2, that Jehovah will perform such a miraculous sign upon the assembled nations as He formerly performed upon Egypt (Hofmann), and one which will outweigh the ten Egyptian 'ōthōth and complete the destruction commenced by them. Hitzig supposes the 'ōth to refer directly to the horrible wonder connected with the battle, in which Jehovah fights against them with fire and sword (compare the parallels so far as the substance is concerned in Joel 3:14-16, Zephaniah 3:8, Ezekiel 38:18., Zechariah 14:12.). But since, according to the foregoing threat, the expression "they shall see my glory" signifies that they will be brought to experience the judicial revelation of the glory of Jehovah, if vesamtı̄ bâhem 'ōth (and I set a sign upon them) were to be understood in this judicial sense, it would be more appropriate for it to precede than to follow. Moreover, this vesamtı̄ bâhem 'ōth would be a very colourless description of what takes place in connection with the assembled army of nations. It is like a frame without a picture; and consequently Ewald and Umbreit are right in maintaining that what follows directly after is to be taken as the picture for this framework. The 'ōth (or sign) consists in the unexpected and, with this universal slaughter, the surprising fact, that a remnant is still spared, and survives this judicial revelation of glory. This marvellous rescue of individuals out of the mass is made subservient in the midst of judgment to the divine plan of salvation. those who have escaped are to bring to the far distant heathen world the tidings of Jehovah, the God who has been manifested in judgment and grace, tidings founded upon their own experience. It is evident from this, that notwithstanding the expression "all nations and tongues," the nations that crowd together against Jerusalem and are overthrown in the attempt, are not to be understood as embracing all nations without exception, since the prophet is able to mention the names of many nations which were beyond the circle of these great events, and had been hitherto quite unaffected by the positive historical revelation, which was concentrated in Israel. By Tarshish Knobel understand the nation of the Tyrsenes, Tuscans, or Etruscans; but there is far greater propriety in looking for Tarshish, as the opposite point to 'Ophir, in the extreme west, where the name of the Spanish colony Tartessus resembles it in sound. In the middle ages Tunis was combined with this. Instead of ולוּד פּוּל we should probably read with the lxx ולוּד פּוּט, as in Ezekiel 27:10; Ezekiel 30:5. Stier decides in favour of this, whilst Hitzig and Ewald regard פול as another form of פוט. The epithet קשׁת משׁכי (drawers of the bow) is admirably adapted to the inhabitants of Pūt, since this people of the early Egyptian Phet (Phaiat) is represented ideographically upon the monuments by nine bows. According to Josephus, Ant. i. 6, 2, a river of Mauritania was called Phout, and the adjoining country Phoute; and this is confirmed by other testimonies. As Lud is by no means to be understood as referring to the Lydians of Asia Minor here, if only because they could not well be included among the nations of the farthest historico-geographical horizon in a book which traces prophetically the victorious career of Cyrus, but signifies rather the undoubtedly African tribe, the לוד which Ezekiel mentions in Isaiah 30:5 among the nations under Egyptian rule, and in Isaiah 27:10 among the auxiliaries of the Tyrians, and which Jeremiah notices in Jeremiah 46:9 along with Put as armed with bows; Put and Lud form a fitting pair in this relation also, whereas Pul is never met with again. The Targum renders it by פּוּלאי, i.e., (according to Bochart) inhabitants of Φιλαί, a Nile island of Upper Egypt, which Strabo (xvii. 1, 49) calls "a common abode of Ethiopians and Egyptians" (see Parthey's work, De Philis insula); and this is at any rate better than Knobel's supposition, that either Apulia (which was certainly called Pul by the Jews of the middle ages) or Lower Italy is intended here. Tubal stands for the Tibarenes on the south-east coast of the Black Sea, the neighbours of the Moschi (משׁך), with whom they are frequently associated by Ezekiel (Ezekiel 27:13; Ezekiel 38:2-3; Ezekiel 39:1); according to Josephus (Ant. i. 6, 1), the (Caucasian) Iberians. Javan is a name given to the Greeks, from the aboriginal tribe of the Bawones. The eye is now directed towards the west: the "isles afar off" are the islands standing out of the great western sea (the Mediterranean), and the coastlands that project into it. To all these nations, which have hitherto known nothing of the God of revelation, either through the hearing of the word or through their own experience, Jehovah sends those who have escaped; and they make known His glory there, that glory the judicial manifestation of which they have just seen for themselves.

The prophet is speaking here of the ultimate completion of the conversion of the Gentiles; for elsewhere this appeared to him as the work of the Servant of Jehovah, for which Cyrus the oppressor of the nations prepared the soil. His standpoint here resembles that of the apostle in Romans 11:25, who describes the conversion of the heathen world and the rescue of all Israel as facts belonging to the future; although at the time when he wrote this, the evangelization of the heathen foretold by our prophet in Isaiah 42:1. was already progressing most rapidly. A direct judicial act of God Himself will ultimately determine the entrance of the Pleroma of the Gentiles into the kingdom of God, and this entrance of the fulness of the Gentiles will then lead to the recovery of the diaspora of Israel, since the heathen, when won by the testimony borne to Jehovah by those who have been saved, "bring your brethren out of all nations." On the means employed to carry this into effect, including kirkârōth, a species of camels (female camels), which derives its name from its rapid swaying motion, see the Lexicons.

(Note: The lxx render it σκιαδίων, i.e., probably palanquins. Jerome observes on this, quae nos dormitoria interpretari possumus vel basternas. (On this word, with which the name of the Bastarnians as ̔Αμαξόβιοι is connected, see Hahnel's Bedeutung der Bastarner fr das german. Alterthum, 1865, p. 34.))

The words are addressed, as in Isaiah 66:5, to the exiles of Babylonia. The prophet presupposes that his countrymen are dispersed among all nations to the farthest extremity of the geographical horizon. In fact, the commerce of the Israelites, which had extended as far as India and Spain ever since the time of Solomon, the sale of Jewish prisoners as slaves to Phoenicians, Edomites, and Greeks in the time of king Joram (Obadiah 1:20; Joel 3:6; Amos 1:6), the Assyrian captivities, the free emigrations - for example, of those who stayed behind in the land after the destruction of Jerusalem and then went down to Egypt - had already scattered the Israelites over the whole of the known world (see at Isaiah 49:12). Umbreit is of opinion that the prophet calls all the nations who had turned to Jehovah "brethren of Israel," and represents them as marching in the most motley grouping to the holy city. In that case those who were brought upon horses, chariots, etc., would be proselytes; but who would bring them? This explanation is opposed not only to numerous parallels in Isaiah, such as Isaiah 60:4, but also to the abridgment of the passage in Zephaniah 3:10 : "From the other side of the rivers of Ethiopia (taken from Isaiah 18:1-7) will they offer my worshippers, the daughters of my dispersed ones, to me for a holy offering." It is the diaspora of Israel to which the significant name "my worshippers, the daughters of my dispersed ones," is there applied. The figure hinted at in minchâtı̄ (my holy offering) is given more elaborately here in the book of Isaiah, viz., "as the children of Israel are accustomed (fut. as in Isaiah 6:2) to offer the meat-offering" (i.e., that which was to be placed upon the altar as such, viz., wheaten flour, incense, oil, the grains of the first-fruits of wheat, etc.) "in a pure vessel to the house of Jehovah," not in the house of Jehovah, for the point of comparison is not the presentation in the temple, but the bringing to the temple. The minchah is the diaspora of Israel, and the heathen who have become vessels of honour correspond to the clean vessels.

INC attitude: the Arrogance of Ignorance

One post of a LDS member to a group that only encourages everyone to be forgiving as the message of President Nelson. What happens next is a comments of such an immatured hate from an INC antagonist who tries to copy paste from various website that he didn't even care to know the research. I'll make a response on this in another article that will answers his arrogance. Here's his comments and some of exchanges that he can't even answer.

A post to a group with a video message of President Russell M. Nelson
Video on YouTube here - https://youtu.be/cb6UGnSEDi4

And not let's try to see his arrogant comments -

Copy from various source that he think would questioned
the authenticity of Prophecy and the prophet.
I'll be responding this one in full article,
so it would take some time to answers his arr

I don't seem to see a reverent answers from a so called Christian as he claimed to be by just taking time copy and pasting oldies that he can't even verify or he doesn't even care doing his own research. Do you describe yourself as a Christian by doing that Jose Magadia?

My response to his comment that he didn't even think
on answering rather jumping on a different topic.
I'll be adding his response in a separate part since it was on a different topic, so it will be more interesting.

Some response to his arrogant post that he also left unanswered -

Obviously, Jose Magadia doesn't know if this things come to pass

Jose Magadia, you're so bothered collecting information that you think will end up LDS teachings and practices while you can't even stand in explaining a simple Biblical words. What this say about you?

Another Jesus?

The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it. - Joseph Smith Jr

A post that I found in a Social Media that sell something against LDS Church or perhaps she made it to a different level where she is trying to out down the LDS belief about the Book of Mormon.

Will, that's most of the critics do, but for no good reason as to make fun of bully church material while claiming they were Christians.

She posted this on her facebook page with her store website using etsy.com

These were the images that she added in her post -

This seems lika a sticker that says
Testament of Another Jesus Christ
Instead of Another Testament of Jesus Christ

And there she's holding the result which covers the subtitle.

So, I'm thinking what makes them say's that it is the another Jesus Christ or we should say a different Jesus that most of the antagonists try to point out? What makes them think it that way? Was the Jesus Christ the LDS belief were different than the Protestant, Catholic, Baptist, Evangelicals etc., Using the same type of Bible that belief in the same Biblical Story?

I don't know how this people try to define something they believe while doing the exact opposite, and that is not Christlike. I'm pretty sure they do understand the same teachings of love, kindness, goodness, respect and so on. The Bible teaches the same Christ that save us from sins and hell.

Anyway, let's try to take a look what kind of Jesus Christ the Book of Mormon teaches about, maybe it's different after all.

Here's some of the scriptural verses from The Book of Mormon that I compiled about the topic -

2 Nephi 10:3 Wherefore, as I said unto you, it must needs be expedient that Christ—for in the last night the angel spake unto me that this should be his name—should come among the Jews, among those who are the more wicked part of the world; and they shall crucify him—for thus it behooveth our God, and there is none other nation on earth that would crucify their God.

2 Nephi 11:6 And my soul delighteth in proving unto my people that save Christ should come all men must perish.
7 For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.

And some of the verses found in 2 Nephi 25 which mostly talks about him. I highlighted some part to make it more meaningful -

16 And after they have been scattered, and the Lord God hath scourged them by other nations for the space of many generations, yea, even down from generation to generation until they shall be persuaded to believe in Christ, the Son of God, and the atonement, which is infinite for all mankind—and when that day shall come that they shall believe in Christ, and worship the Father in his name, with pure hearts and clean hands, and look not forward any more for another Messiah, then, at that time, the day will come that it must needs be expedient that they should believe these things.

17 And the Lord will set his hand again the second time to restore his people from their lost and fallen state. Wherefore, he will proceed to do a marvelous work and a wonder among the children of men.

18 Wherefore, he shall bring forth his words unto them, which words shall judge them at the last day, for they shall be given them for the purpose of convincing them of the true Messiah, who was rejected by them; and unto the convincing of them that they need not look forward any more for a Messiah to come, for there should not any come, save it should be a false Messiah which should deceive the people; for there is save one Messiah spoken of by the prophets, and that Messiah is he who should be rejected of the Jews.

19 For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the angel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

20 And now, my brethren, I have spoken plainly that ye cannot err. And as the Lord God liveth that brought Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and gave unto Moses power that he should heal the nations after they had been bitten by the poisonous serpents, if they would cast their eyes unto the serpent which he did raise up before them, and also gave him power that he should smite the rock and the water should come forth; yea, behold I say unto you, that as these things are true, and as the Lord God liveth, there is none other name given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ, of which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved.

21 Wherefore, for this cause hath the Lord God promised unto me that these things which I write shall be kept and preserved, and handed down unto my seed, from generation to generation, that the promise may be fulfilled unto Joseph, that his seed should never perish as long as the earth should stand.

22 Wherefore, these things shall go from generation to generation as long as the earth shall stand; and they shall go according to the will and pleasure of God; and the nations who shall possess them shall be judged of them according to the words which are written.

23 For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.

24 And, notwithstanding we believe in Christ, we keep the law of Moses, and look forward with steadfastness unto Christ, until the law shall be fulfilled.

25 For, for this end was the law given; wherefore the law hath become dead unto us, and we are made alive in Christ because of our faith; yet we keep the law because of the commandments.

26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

27 Wherefore, we speak concerning the law that our children may know the deadness of the law; and they, by knowing the deadness of the law, may look forward unto that life which is in Christ, and know for what end the law was given. And after the law is fulfilled in Christ, that they need not harden their hearts against him when the law ought to be done away.

28 And now behold, my people, ye are a stiffnecked people; wherefore, I have spoken plainly unto you, that ye cannot misunderstand. And the words which I have spoken shall stand as a testimony against you; for they are sufficient to teach any man the right way; for the right way is to believe in Christ and deny him not; for by denying him ye also deny the prophets and the law.

29 And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out.

Actually, there are many more, but I couldn't fill the entire book in this single topic. I'll just repost it sometime in this blog.

Here's some of the selected quote that I collected for this topic.

We affirm, on the authority of Holy Scripture, that the Being who is known among men as Jesus of Nazareth, and by all who acknowledge His Godhood as Jesus the Christ, existed with the Father prior to birth in the flesh; and that in the preexistent state He was chosen and ordained to be the one and only Savior and Redeemer of the human race. - Jame E. Talmage

A study of the life of Christ and a testimony of His reality is something each of us should seek. As we come to understand His mission and the atonement which He wrought, we will desire to live more like Him. We especially encourage the young men and young women to come to know the reason for the atoning sacrifice of our Lord. - Howard W. Hunter

[Christ] is "the author and finisher of our faith" (Heb. 12:2). He got the job done! In humility He could honestly and sincerely declare to His Father: "I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do" (John 17:4). - Spencer J. Condie

Every prayer we offer is in His name. Every ordinance performed is in His name. Every baptism, confirmation, blessing, ordination, every sermon, every testimony is concluded with the invocation of His sacred name. It is in His name that we heal the sick and perform other miracles of which we do not, cannot, speak.

In the sacrament we take upon ourselves the name of Christ. We covenant to remember Him and keep His commandments. He is present in all that we believe. - Boyd K. Packer

And here's some powerful statement from Bruce R. McConkie, his last conference message before he passed away -

And now, as pertaining to this perfect atonement, wrought by the shedding of the blood of God—I testify that it took place in Gethsemane and at Golgotha, and as pertaining to Jesus Christ, I testify that he is the Son of the Living God and was crucified for the sins of the world. He is our Lord, our God, and our King. This I know of myself independent of any other person.

I am one of his witnesses, and in a coming day I shall feel the nail marks in his hands and in his feet and shall wet his feet with my tears. 3 Nephi 17:10

But I shall not know any better then than I know now that he is God’s Almighty Son, that he is our Savior and Redeemer, and that salvation comes in and through his atoning blood and in no other way.

God grant that all of us may walk in the light as God our Father is in the light so that, according to the promises, the blood of Jesus Christ his Son will cleanse us from all sin.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

The quotes goes on and on by former and later leaders who made their testimony clear that it is Jesus Christ we believe and that through Him we all might be save if we all come unto Him, make a covenant and accept his goodness. So it's undeniable, that every latter-day saints believe in the same Christ that save us from death and sin, and the same Christ as the begotten son of God.

Thanks you for visiting my blog and have a nice day.

Neil Andi Anderson: Running away to a simple Question

And here's what a fanatic would get after I ask the same question. Can't even make a direct answer while I have already proven my side.

To see the relevant post on this old topic, click the link below.

Meanwhile, let's try to see Neil Andi Anderson's alibi after throwing back the same question to him -

Our exchanges in Messenger

About my stand on his questions in a full article with Job Bautista, see it here - https://jerrybustillo.blogspot.com/2021/12/unacceptable-biblical-study-of-job.html

The same article wasn't even debunked by these INC trolls. Nice try, but you need to go deeper than that.

Part 4 - Jesus Christ Deity: A FAIL Study of Job Bautista

Here's another study of Job Bautista on How he Miserably Fail. Let's try to take a look. My comments will be in red and some scripture references will be on colored. So, lets start -

AYON SA MGA ASSOCIATION  NG MGA KULTONG RELIGIONNA SS; LDS CULT CHURCH, MCGI  CULT CHURCH, AY DIYOS DAW SI PANGINOONG JESUCRISTO? BASAHIN NATIN ANG BIBLIA:

Obviously, his attack was to MCGI and LDS alone not minding the other sects who has the same belief like the Catholics and some protestants. But, lets deal with it. So, his question was, "Is Christ a God?". There are a couple of  scriptures will sustain an answer to his confusions, but I will select some of it. Let's try to see how he clearly understand the scripture using some of his selections.

And here goes the part of his arrogance. The following questions will be answered by scriptures. So, here it goes -

1. Sino ang bumuhay kay Panginoong Jesucristo?

So, there are some fishy complex if you're not focus on your study of the scriptures. As an advice, read the content and understand the context. Okay, so here are my answers -

I will be using different Scripture verses to answer it straight to the point.

Acts 13:30-33
30 But God raised him from the dead:
31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Alright, so what's with it? The INC doctrine is exclusive only for some particular verses they love to quote and choose for their ministry purposes and some other online discussions and debate. But what's with it all about? Then let's discuss it -

Christ has a glory before the world was, which mean he existed before with God the Father who has the same Glory as the Father (John 17:5). He was also the Creator (John 1:1-4, Colosians 1:16-19). Should we question the bible about it?  And the time comes when he left his glory to fulfill the atoning sacrifice, he ask the father to have it back so he can rise himself and the rest of the human in this world. He has that same power to raise everyone from the dead and he is the resurrection and the life. Then what's with the question?

2. Saan daw nakaupo si Panginoong Jesucristo?

He sited in the right hand of God, and what's exactly your point?

3. Kanino daw papailalim si Panginoong Jesucristo?

What's is actually wrong was that your making false dichotomy fallacy. Christ is the Son that doesn't mean he's not a God, has no power and authority to exercise and perform salvation. Of course, the Father is always greater since he is the father.

4. Sino ang gumawa kay Panginoong Jesucristo bilang pangulo ng Iglesia?

Look how poor this question is. It's getting more worse. The Father is the God of All spirit, we all came from Him and that include Christ. Not a good idea to establish a nonsense question. If you insist that question, then try asking why would God allow a man to take a man's name in salvation and in a church?

5. Sino ang nakipagkaisa kay Pangiqnoong Jesucristo?

More. Just read the same line above and above it. It's getting senseless.

6. Sino ang nakinabang sa pagkatubos ng dugo ni Panginoong Jesucristo?

Failure of his study cost him to misunderstood Christ's divinity, as the Son of God, pre-mortal Existence and Calling. Again, consider this question, why would God allow just one man to save all and that through him salvation came? Why not just go directly to God? He is capable in doing that, so what gives?

Ka  Neil Andi Anderson, ano masasabi mo sa dalawang kulto na Religion na ito?

Oh yeah Brother Neil Andi Anderson, what do you think it is? Something that you need to work out.

More of scriptural documentary will be updated soon. This is just a short responses of Job Bautista's Criticisms that seems he need to do more research rather using their own ideology.
