Second Response to Job Bautista of the subject of 2 Nephi 9:8-9

This was already answered the Last time, and here we go again of his slow intellectuality. Job Bautista is so Fanatic in his Philippine Religion that he is willing to kill if permited or to be rude to everyones believe as long as he keep himself Christian the way he acted fanatic and stupidity.

Will lets go to it and it seems it is the second article that I made lf the same subject. As I have said, he is too slow so most of the time I have to go over to the same article to help him up understand a simple study still he can't comprehend a simple text.

To learn more of the old Article that I'd made the last time regarding this subject, just go here to see it - https://bustillo-family.blogspot.com/2024/05/job-bautista-context-of-2-nephi-98.html

While there it is plane that Job Bautista is too slow to understand the context of the scripture, he has slow compression which I have to deal a toddler singing a primary rhymes to get his attention. Now his sane old criticisms below -

Jerry Nuñez Bustillo
Akala ko ba banal na aso kayo nagagalit itong tagatahol ni Joseph Smith.

Yep, it was addressed to me and he made this after I made a response of his post asking for sympathy from his readers and so here we go again for the second time answering it. Weew! Hopefully there'll be no third time on the same subject.

Batay sa 2 Nephi 9:8-9 kayo nga daw ay magiging diablo kasi nga diablo ang ugali ninyo . Iyan mismo sa aklat ninyo sa pag amin ng propetae ninyo . Basahin ninyo .

8 O the wisdom of God, his mercy and grace! For behold, if the flesh should rise no more our spirits must become subject to that angel who fell from before the presence of the Eternal God, and became the devil, to rise no more. 9 And our spirits must have become like unto him, and we become devils, angels to a devil, to be shut out from the presence of our God, and to remain with the father of lies, in misery, like unto himself; yea, to that being who beguiled our first parents, who transformeth himself nigh unto an angel of light, and stirreth up the children of men unto secret combinations of murder and all manner of secret works of darkness.

This is so funny 🤣🤣🤣. The way Job Bautista understood the text was simply keep the very best Cherry and throw the rest of the History. You never knew how and what this was all about without understanding its context. Let me elaborate it for you, shall we?

Was 2 Nephi 9:8-9 was all about the LDS becomes devil?

Let's delve into those verses a bit! 2 Nephi 9:8-9 doesn't say the Latter-day Saints become the devil. Rather, these verses are part of a larger discourse by Jacob, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and its central importance to humanity. To give you a quick summary:

  • 2 Nephi 9:8 talks about how if there were no resurrection, our spirits would become subject to the devil, leading to an endless state of being cut off from the presence of God.
  • 2 Nephi 9:9 explains that if this were to happen, it would mean an eternal torment for all, who would be completely under the devil's power without the resurrection and atonement of Christ.
These verses are teaching about the consequences of sin and the absence of Christ's Atonement rather than portraying Latter-day Saints or anyone else as becoming the devil. It emphasizes the crucial nature of the Atonement in preventing our eternal separation from God and succumbing to the devil's influence.

Did you catch it? I bet you didn't. 🤣🤣🤣. The best answer to it is to go back how this verse was actually addressed. Here's verse 7 of 2 Nephi 9 for your personal study -

7 Wherefore, it must needs be an infinite atonement—save it should be an infinite atonement this corruption could not put on incorruption. Wherefore, the first judgment which came upon man must needs have remained to an endless duration. And if so, this flesh must have laid down to rot and to crumble to its mother earth, to rise no more.

Simple Job Bautista, have you seen that prior verse that simply schooled you? Oh yeah of coursr I forgot. You're too slow to comprehend 🤣🤣🤣. The Answer is too simple, that if without Christ, there would be no resurrection and salvation. And to sum it up as your cherry picked verse goes. Without it, we would all be under sin and death, which basically align to what Paul's said in Romans 6:18-23

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.

And that's pretty clear that the Book of Mormon really help us understand what the Holy Bible has to say about Christ and his role as the Saviour, Redeemer the Mighty God, thr Creator of Heaven and Earth. Of course, you don't like it since you're Fanatic and too slow to understand the truth.

Ito sa tagalog ;

Yeah you simply rewrote it in tagalog, should I also reponse the same answer in tagalog for you? Maybe your lack of intellectual capacity couldn't also understand simple english?

Dahil nga daw sa kanilang propetae na polygamist kaya hindi kataka taka na sa diablo nga po sila.

This is How your Mental Gymnastics was so professional by just simply addressing and judging someone without thinking how badly you created yourself as disrespectful lousy Demon. You're conclusion is not even relevant, but yes of course, what do we expect to someone who is fanatic as you are who doesn't know how to use a brain in critical thinking. Too weak Job Bautista, and stop calling yourself a Christian or thinkin' you and your religion will be save the way you act. That doesn't work and too bad you have a little time to understand reality, it is too late for you. May I suggest, get a life and stop being a fanatic or should I directly say stop being a Bigot.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Debunking Job Bautista in his Criticisms about the Promise Land ideology and some MADEUP STORY.

Job Bautista appears to be struggling with his comprehension of LDS theology in some online social networks, as evidenced by his increasingly erratic behavior. He shares stories that seem too good to be true, yet he genuinely believes in their validity. While I typically refrain from addressing such poorly articulated criticism, it may provide insight into why he is causing a stir across social media platforms with his fabrications and misconceptions. By examining these narratives, we may gain a better understanding of the underlying factors that have propelled him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Let's take a closer look at some of these instances to unravel the truth behind Job Bautista's online presence and the impact of his misleading statements. His words below -

This is too poor to be a criticism, but lets deal with it since Job Bautista wants to learn new things and he wants to understand what really happened during those time that he mentioned. He never knew what context is, so basically he just loved cherry pick verse for the content, and yet it ended up arrogantly fail.

Let's sum up his concerns in bullets so we could address it directly to his Understanding. Comments will be after each bullets.

1 Nehpi 17: 20 And thou art like unto our father, led away by the foolish imaginations of his heart; yea, he hath led us out of the land of Jerusalem, and we have wandered in the wilderness for these many years; and our women have toiled, being big with child; and they have borne children in the wilderness and suffered all things, save it were death; and it would have been better that they had died before they came out of Jerusalem than to have suffered these afflictions

Job Bautista simply think his cheery-picked verse was all about a prophet being deceived but looking at the context, the one who speaks is not actually a prophet. It was Nephi's older brethren who didn't believe the words of their Father Lehi. The writer only records the events and narration of his history, in which Job Bautista fails to analyze. Some part of it for your study below Job Bautista (1 Nephi 17:17-19) -

17 And when my brethren saw that I was about to build a ship, they began to murmur against me, saying: Our brother is a fool, for he thinketh that he can build a ship; yea, and he also thinketh that he can cross these great waters.
18 And thus my brethren did complain against me, and were desirous that they might not labor, for they did not believe that I could build a ship; neither would they believe that I was instructed of the Lord.
19 And now it came to pass that I, Nephi, was exceedingly sorrowful because of the hardness of their hearts; and now when they saw that I began to be sorrowful they were glad in their hearts, insomuch that they did rejoice over me, saying: We knew that ye could not construct a ship, for we knew that ye were lacking in judgment; wherefore, thou canst not accomplish so great a work.

After reading the verses, it's obvious that the words were spoken by his older brother who disagreed with Nephi and their father, Lehi. They were told to build a ship to sail across the ocean. The verses show a family disagreement, with the older brother opposing the plan to construct the ship. This disagreement reveals a family conflict, highlighting different opinions within the family. The older brother's refusal to build the ship shows a lack of unity and understanding among family members. It portrays a moment of tension and disagreement, illustrating the challenges Nephi and his family faced during their journey. The verses depict the complexities of family dynamics and individual beliefs during a crucial decision-making process.

So, was the question Job Bautista referred to has significant to the actual context? I guess no. Carefully reading and understanding the context will help you learn the right situation of the even, and Job Bautista here simply shows his lack of ability to comprehend the text.

  • Ether Chapter 13. Kinopya ang kasaysayan ni Noe na gumawa ng Daong.
I don't understand how building a ship could be compared to Noah's story. Noah was told to build an ark to save himself, his family, and animals from a flood. Lehi's family building a ship to reach a promised land happened around 600 BC. During that time, people knew what ships, boats, and arks looked like. They were familiar with Noah's story, so it wasn't a new concept. I don't see any reason to think they were copying the ark story for a different purpose. It seems unrelated and doesn't make sense.
  • Ang Family ng bulaang propeta naman daw ay gumawa din ng sasakyan dagat o barko. 1 Nephi 18:22-23 , 1 Nephi 18:8 -9 nakarating daw sila sa lupang pangako (America)
As my explaination goes, This is not actually new concept during their times. So it doesn't make any sense in questioning something historically correct. You may go ahead and rephrase your question.
  • Ether chapter 13. Sagana daw doon ng kalaswaan at polygamy rituals isinasagawa.
It appears that there is a misunderstanding regarding polygamous rituals in Ether 13, as I have not come across such references either. The individual in question seems to be blending elements of Joseph Smith's life with certain practices in a manner that suggests confusion or a lack of familiarity with the Book of Mormon and its context. It seems like a case where information has been haphazardly picked up without a thorough understanding, leading to a presentation that may seem intriguing on the surface but lacks coherence when examined within the proper framework. To Job Bautista, I would suggest conducting separate research on the topic to offer constructive criticism rather than presenting a jumbled history that fails to convincingly portray the intended message. Such behavior can be perceived as disrespectful and unchristian, especially if one claims to adhere to Christian values. It is essential to refrain from engaging in disrespectful actions if one wishes to be associated with Christian principles. By approaching discussions with respect and a genuine desire to understand, one can contribute meaningfully to the discourse without resorting to rudeness or misrepresentation. So Job Bautista, don't be a jerk. It's my challenge to you, if you want to go on with the topic of Polygamy, then stop making up storied that doesn't e even on the context. I would suggest do it in separate post.
  • Katunayan meron 40 na asawa ang kanilang Propeta na si Joseph Smith.

Yes, I thought this was correct, but it seems like you've misunderstood. You're mixing up things to make them more appealing to readers, but it's not accurate in a sense if we're dealing with the Book of Mormon History. Joseph Smith's life and the context of the Book of Mormon are unrelated. The Book of Mormon advises having one wife to prevent problems like those experienced by David and Solomon with multiple wives. However, this doesn't mean it supports polygamy. The Book of Mormon teaches that having only one spouse is the best way to have a successful marriage and avoid the issues that can arise from having more than one partner. But on the issue of Joseph Smith and Polygamy were not relevant to the theme you're trying to brought up. As my suggestion goes, try posting it in separate post or article.

Below are some of the lines from the Book of Mormon that doesn't agree nor disagree the practice of Polygamy, rather as whatever God's well it's all up to Him as long as you're keeping His commandments and covenants.

Jacob 2
23 But the word of God burdens me because of your grosser crimes. For behold, thus saith the Lord: This people begin to wax in iniquity; they understand not the scriptures, for they seek to excuse themselves in committing whoredoms, because of the things which were written concerning David, and Solomon his son.
24 Behold, David and Solomon truly had many wives and concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord
25 Wherefore, thus saith the Lord, I have led this people forth out of the land of Jerusalem, by the power of mine arm, that I might raise up unto me a righteous branch from the fruit of the loins of Joseph.
26 Wherefore, I the Lord God will not suffer that this people shall do like unto them of old.
27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none
28 For I, the Lord God, delight in the chastity of women. And whoredoms are an abomination before me; thus saith the Lord of Hosts.
29 Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the Lord of Hosts, or cursed be the land for their sakes
30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.

In verse 30, it is stated that God can instruct His people to have descendants who follow Him. If God commanded polygamy, it would be His decision, but during that time, God advised against it. Job Bautista tried to distort the history of the Book of Mormon by falsely claiming that the people in it, who journeyed from Israel to Ancient America, practiced polygamy, which is untrue. Bautista's account contradicts the actual teachings of the Book of Mormon. The verse emphasizes that God's commands determine the practices of His people, and in this case, polygamy was not endorsed. Bautista's attempt to alter the narrative of the Book of Mormon is misleading and inaccurate. It is crucial to rely on authentic sources and accurate accounts when interpreting historical events. The verse serves as a reminder of the importance of understanding and following God's teachings faithfully, without misinterpretation or distortion.

Nice try Job Bautista, but you fail. Thank you and have a nice day.

QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF AND YOUR 70 ELDERS: by Jose Magadia

Despite the initial question's lack of clarity, I find it captivating and would like to provide a balanced and informative response to assist Jose Magadia in his concerns. This was actually addressed to Glen Mari R. Lamis. Let's proceed -

QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF AND YOUR 70 ELDERS:

The title is not actually intended for the 70 elders since we already have missionaries who could address this question straight. Yet he is acting cool enough to state this poor questions.

1. Is the NAME of Christ Church FOUND in the Bible?

This has been address over and over in this blog article maybe he is not aware of the type of question that was asked. More of this Jose Magadia in this link below -

There were others that I didn't add and going over and over in the entire discussion with our INC friends. So why was the registered church name important? Doest Christ really state the true Church must be or should bear the exact name such as Church of Christ?

2. Is it the Church Christ REFERRED to in Matthew 16:18 (I Will Build My Church) ?

I also address this issue to one of our INC friends and what Christ refered to as rock which is Revelation and authority which Christ gave to the Apostles.

Paul used the word foundation which basically the same point as Christ addressed to Peter.
20. Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
21. But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. - Romans 15:20-21 KJV

Paul summarized his thoughts in his different epistle where he addressed to the Ephesians Saints.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

In LDS perspective, this verse highlights the importance of the apostles and prophets in the Church, emphasizing that Jesus Christ is the ultimate foundation - the chief cornerstone. It teaches us that the teachings and revelations given through prophets and apostles are crucial, but that Christ is central to everything the Church is and does. It's a beautiful reminder of how we're all connected in our faith through Christ and the leaders He has chosen.

3. And if the Name of your Church is found in the Bible, Are all it’s teachings and doctrines are BIBLICAL, or MAN-MADE?

This is a pretty good question and smart. Your since I already made my points about the foundations but let's answer it straight.

The Church teaches that it is a restoration of the original church established by Jesus Christ, and thus its teachings are intended to align with the teachings of Christ and His apostles as found in the Bible.

Some Latter-day Saint beliefs and practices can be directly found in the Bible, such as baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:2-6), and the importance of prophets (Ephesians 4:11-14). Other teachings may not be explicitly detailed in the Bible but are believed to be consistent with biblical principles and are also clarified or expanded upon in other Latter-day Saint scriptures.

It is also understood within the Church that continuous revelation through living prophets is a fundamental principle, which means that God can reveal new guidance or clarify existing doctrines through His prophets today, just as He did in biblical times. This belief is based on the biblical precedent that God "will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).

Members of the Church are encouraged to study the scriptures, pray, and seek personal revelation to understand and confirm the truth of these teachings for themselves. This personal conversion and testimony are foundational to Latter-day Saint faith.

4. Is the LDS Church BELONG to the PROPHESIED in the Bible, that WOULD RE-EMERGE in these Last days?

Members of the Church often refer to scriptures in both the Bible and other Latter-day Saint scriptures that they feel prophesy and support this restoration.

One key biblical prophecy that Latter-day Saints believe points to the restoration of Christ's church and the gospel in the latter days is found in Acts 3:19-21, where Peter speaks of a time of refreshing and the restoration (restitution) of all things before the Lord's return. They interpret "the restoration of all things" to mean the gospel in its fullness, priesthood authority, and the establishment of Christ's church as it originally was.

Another significant scripture is found in Amos 8:11-12, which speaks of a "famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord." Latter-day Saints interpret this as a prophecy of the Apostasy—a period when the fullness of the gospel and the authority of God were lost from the earth following the death of the apostles. The Restoration then, through the Prophet Joseph Smith, is seen as the end of that famine, with the coming forth of the Book of Mormon as a new witness of Jesus Christ alongside the Bible, and the re-establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ with priesthood authority to administer its ordinances.

Additionally, Isaiah 29:13-14 is often cited in connection with the Book of Mormon, with Latter-day Saints interpreting the "marvelous work and a wonder" as referring to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon in the latter days as another testament of Jesus Christ and a key part of the restoration of the gospel.

Members of the Church believe that God has always communicated with His children through prophets and that after a period of general apostasy, He has once again reached out to humanity through a prophet, Joseph Smith, to restore the Church of Jesus Christ with its original authority, teachings, and ordinances.

5. Does it’s history COINCIDE with the Prophecy?

It does, see the same answer on your 4th question that deals about it. I'll elaborate more of it on different article sometime if I have enough time in this world 🤣🤣🤣. Kidding aside

6. Are the Lds preachers and ministers RECOGNIZED and SENT by God to PREACH?

Essentially, if God set up His servants, known as prophets, to lay their hands on others to confer the authority to baptize and proclaim the Gospel of repentance, then the answer is yes. Joseph Smith was given the authority to baptize directly by John the Baptist, who appeared to him along with Oliver Cowdery. Later, Peter, James, and John, from the original Twelve Apostles, also appeared to them and laid their hands on them to pass on the Priesthood Authority they had received from Christ (John 15:16). If you're interested in watching a video presentation about this, here is a part of it.

There were many others that doesn't need to be include in this article, but if you want to dive deeper I would love to do so.

... Let that sink-in my friend...

Thank you and the concerns has been addressed.

Debunking Job Bautista in his Gold Plates Myth Attack

Another attack from our Iglesia Ni Cristo friend who uses a certain verses from the Book of Mormon that he never understood the context even the history background of the passage. Now let's make a commentary and response to his poor criticisms and find out if he's telling the truth.

Below are the words that he used to Provoke me and was copied from his very own Facebook wall that he tagged me thinking it couldn't be answered. See the text below, I put his criticisms on bullets -
    • Jerry Nuñez Bustillo basahin natin ang pinitpit na tanso ng book of Mormon :
His first impression as he addressed me was all about the Book of Mormon that was written on metal plates. Actually his direct point was all about a made up story since he don't believe on it the reason why he use the word "pinitpit" in tagalog which sometime translates as trashed.
    • 2 Nephi 9:5 Yea, I know that ye know that in the body he shall show himself unto those at Jerusalem, from whence we came; for it is expedient that it should be among them; for it behooveth the great Creator that he suffereth himself to become subject unto man in the flesh, and die for all men, that all men might become subject unto him.
His quote was in 2 Nephi 9:5 we find Jacob, the brother of Nephi, delivering a powerful sermon to the people of Nephi. This chapter is a centerpiece of Jacob's teachings on the Atonement of Jesus Christ and its essential role in human salvation.

This verse situates the Atonement of Jesus Christ within the context of His mission on Earth, particularly emphasizing His mortal ministry, death, and Resurrection. Jacob is teaching about the necessity of the Messiah's appearance in mortality, specifically among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, where He would be judged, crucified, and then rise from the dead. This sequence of events is presented as crucial not only for the fulfillment of prophecy but also as a fundamental part of God's plan of salvation for all humanity.

The broader context of 2 Nephi 9 explores themes like the fall of Adam and Eve, the importance of the resurrection, and the joy of redemption available through Christ. Jacob's teachings serve to remind us of the mercy and love of God, which makes salvation possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It's a call to faith, repentance, and a hopeful perspective on the eternal possibilities afforded to mankind through the Savior's sacrifice.
    • Batay sa huwad na aklat ng Mormon na ang Dakilang lumikha daw ang siyang nagdusa upang , mapasailalim ng tao , sa laman at namatay para sa lahat nf tao.
Now he made an attempt about the creator which mostly in Christian world we believed as the Christ was the same being who was beaten and sacrifice his life for us to perform the atonement. This is not actually biblically contradicting since it was the same Christ who was with the Father before the creation and he was their to organize the patterns of Creating the universe which is everything around it and under it.

Nows here's the rest of the biblical passage that supports this theology.

John 1:1-3, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made."

Colossians 1:16-17 "For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

Hebrews 1:2 "in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world."

There were other passages which we could construct a parallel in the old testament to Christ Nature and his divinity during his Ministry. I may add on it sometime on different article in this blog since I don't have enough room to include it here in Job Bautista's concern.

Moving on, here he quoted a scripture to support his statement. Question is, does it really supports his statement? Let's find out -

    • Kung ibabatay natin sa Biblia ang Diyos ba ang namatay o may kamatayan ? 1 Tim..1:17 .. Sino nga po ba ang namatay para tubusin ang kanyang Kawan , ang Diyos po ba ?
I'm thinking he meant 1 Timothy 1:15, but let's include it.

15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
17. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I included verse 17 which most of the INC make a direct excuse that it doesn't meant anything about Christ but rather it's the Father. Now the question is " If that's what it is, then what about the rest of Paul's epistle to Timothy? Here let's make a parallel to what Paul had said to Timothy. Let's read, also take note on the highlighted words to figure out who was Paul talking to, and observe how and to whom it was -1 Timothy 6:13-16

13. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14. That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15. Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16. Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Now here the object Job Bautista and pay Attention so you could learn how to read your Bible.

First -

  • Who's the King Eternal in 1 Timothy 1:17? Answer is on the same verse "the wise God"
  • And who's the King of Kings and Lord of Lord in 1 Timothy 6:15? Answer in verse 14 Lord Jesus Christ
Second -
  • Who is immortal in 1 Timothy 1:17? Answer is on the same verse "the wise God"
  • Who has immortality in 1 Timothy 6:16? Answer in verse 14 Lord Jesus Christ
Third -
  • Who is invisible in 1 Timothy 1:17? Answer is on the same verse "the wise God"
  • Who is this Being in 1 Timothy 6:16 that no man hath seen, or can see? Answer in verse 14 Lord Jesus Christ
Fourth -
  • Who is this being that has honour and glory for ever and ever in 1 Timothy 1:17? Answer is on the same verse "the wise God"
  • Who is this Being of whom be honour and power everlasting in 1 Timothy 6:16? Answer in verse 14 Lord Jesus Christ
Can't comprehend the scriptures Job Bautista? Of course you don't like the sound of that idea since it is not the doctrine of INC but rather it's the doctrine of Christianity. So yeah what do we expect.

    • NKJV Bible.
    • Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation
Funny how you look at yourself thinking I knew nothing about the scriptures. Go ahead a try a new study if you think I was wrong.
    • Kanino nga ba tinutubos ni Cristo ang kanyang Kawan ? Si Cristo po ba ang namatay ?
This question is so absurd, why would you ask that question when infact we believe it was Christ who redeem us from the fall and the same Christ who was crucified and died for the sake of salvation. Senseless!
Mateo 24:24
In conclusion, Book of Mormon has Sustain Biblical understanding and therefore a witness that Christ is the Son of God who died and brought forth salvation. As Job Bautista fail to understand the teachings of the Scriptures, his knowledge is too weak to comprehend the context and doctrine of Christianity, as Matthew 24:24 warns about the potential for deception even among those who might seem very faithful or knowledgeable. It says, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." This specific verse alone has nothing to do with the Iglesia Ni Christo in Philippines since they don't have prophets and Christ Clearly state that "by their fruits they shall know them" (Matthew 7:15-20) in which indeed there's a need of Prophet and we may be able to know them by their fruits.

Polygamy is Forbidden? By Eliza Lino Abaya

Now here's a common contextual misunderstanding of our INC friend Eliza Lino Abaya. Thinking what she'd quoted was the actual context of the Epistle. So here let's teach here what's the context was all about ang was it all about the Forbidden of Polygamy Doctrine.

Just for the record, since it was all about mostly quoted criticisms from a people who disagree about the practices. To Spoilers, I am not a fan of Polygamy of myself, and I just want to be fair, it's an awkward teachings even biblical. And to remove all biases, Polygamy happens in Biblically, and there's nothing we can do about it.

So here's the Concern of the day -

  • Does the Apostle taught that Polygamy is Forbidden?

From a comment section

Her quotes was in 1 Corinthians 7:1-16. I actually ask her to consider the context and yet she is determined that the context was all about Forbidding Polygamy practices. I could easily admit if the context was all about it, but even the tagalog words is not even convincing. See her Screenshot below -

A screenshot that she showed thinking it was all about it.

Now here's the point of the verses to help you out Eliza Lino Abaya, I will add some studies to schooled you about this Epistle. Are you ready? Before that let's get the Whole text to understand what was written. 1 Corinthians 7:1-16

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
6 But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

So, what was the context all about? So here's the context Eliza Lino Abaya for an additional Knowledge and I'll put Tagalog words for you to help you out.

The context of 1 Corinthians 7:1-16 is pretty interesting. The Apostle Paul is addressing questions and issues concerning marriage, celibacy, and relationships that the members of the Corinthian church had. This portion of Paul's letter is part of a larger response to a letter they wrote to him (mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:1 as "Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me"), asking for guidance on these subjects.

  • Marriage and celibacy (verses 1-7): Paul discusses the virtues of both marriage and celibacy. He suggests that marriage is good and honourable, providing a way for individuals to live in a faithful and committed relationship, thus avoiding sin. However, he also praises celibacy for those who can live that way, emphasizing that it can allow for undivided devotion to the Lord.

  • The marriage bond (verses 8-11): Here, Paul addresses the unmarried and the widows, suggesting that if they can remain single (like him), it's beneficial for their spiritual focus. However, if they cannot, he says they should marry. Paul also touches on the issue of divorce, advising against it and encouraging reconciliation when possible.

  • Mixed marriages (between believers and non-believers) (verses 12-16): Paul gives counsel on how Christians married to non-believers should approach their relationship. He advises them not to divorce if the non-believing partner is willing to continue the marriage. He sees the believing partner as sanctifying the relationship, holding a hopeful stance that the believing spouse might lead the non-believer to faith, as well as ensuring the sanctity of their children.

The translation may sound different so I put the English words first in case. Okay, So was this all about Polygamy? Did Paul state that Being Polygamous is unordained? Or does it talk about Polygamy at all in General? No, it doesn't sounds like any of it, but to be fair as to remove all biases just as I have said in my introduction, I am not a fan of Polygamy and I maybe sound defending what Polygamy is and why was it there during Joseph Smith days, yes it happened but using that single chapter of Scripture to satisfy your ego Eliza Lino Abaya, then you're wrong in quoting it. I have said it in our discussion and seems like you're too aggressive in pretending that you know the scripture well, but it is not.

Additionally, here's a commentary of some known biblical Commentators to learn more about it. It's not actually the Latter-Day Saints view, but perhaps you could learn the context more Eliza Lino Abaya.

EXPOSITOR'S GREEK TESTAMENT
1 Corinthians 7:1-9. § 20. MARRIAGE OR CELIBACY? At this point the Ap. takes up the questions addressed to him by the Cor[993] Church (see Introd., chap. 2). In replying to Paul’s previous letter, they had asked for clearer instructions to regulate their intercourse with men living in heathen sins (1 Corinthians 7:5); this request led up to the inquiries respecting the desirability of marriage, respecting the duties of married Christians, and the lawfulness of divorce for a Christian married to a heathen, with which ch. 7 is occupied. The headings of 1 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Corinthians 7:25, chh. 8, 11, 16, indicate various matters on which the Cor[994] had consulted their Ap. The local impress and temporary aim of the directions here given on the subject of marriage must be borne in mind; otherwise Paul’s treatment will appear to be narrow and unsympathetic, and out of keeping with the exalted sense of its spiritual import disclosed in Ephesians 5. Indeed, ch. 1 Corinthians 11:3-15 of this Ep. show that P. had larger conception on the relations of man and woman than are here unfolded. The obscurity of expression attaching to several passages betrays the writer’s embarrassment; this was due partly to the low moral sensibility of the Cor[995], and partly to the uncertain continuance of the existing order of life (1 Corinthians 7:26-31), which weighed with the Ap. at the time of writing and led him to discourage the formation of domestic ties. In later Epistles, when the present economy had opened out into a larger perspective, the ethics of marriage and the Christian household are worthily developed (see Colossians and Ephesians).

CAMBRIDGE BIBLE FOR SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
Ch. 1 Corinthians 7:1-9. Advice concerning Marriage and Celibacy
1. Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me] The newly converted Corinthians had evidently found themselves in a difficulty concerning marriage. The Jews in general, whatever ascetics like the Essenes and Therapeutæ among them may have done, set a high value upon it; while the best of the heathen philosophers were inclined to depreciate it, and certain sayings of our Lord (see St Matthew 19:5-12) seemed to support their view. The Corinthians had evidently written to consult St Paul on the point. The Apostle’s advice may be thus summarized: that though the unmarried were, from their freedom from all entangling ties, most at liberty to serve God in any way that He might put before them, and though in the present season of temptation and persecution (1 Corinthians 7:26; 1 Corinthians 7:28) the unmarried would be spared much trial and anguish which would fall heavily upon married persons, yet that it was the duty of those who, in an unmarried state, were in danger of offending against that solemn law of Christian purity which he had just laid down, to “marry, and so keep themselves undefiled members of Christ’s Body.” The growth in these luxurious days of habits at variance with the simple and unostentatious life of the true Christian, places great difficulties in the way of those who would follow St Paul’s advice, and is, therefore, the cause of an amount of immorality and misery which it were better to prevent than to be compelled to cure.

To end this I would like to address this conclusion in Tagalog so you may understand Elisa Lino Abaya.

Nakuha mo ba, Eliza Lino Abaya? Alam kong hindi mo suportado ang Poligami, ngunit mali ang iyong pag-quote ng isang Kasulatan na walang kaugnayan dito. Were Prophets and Apostles Still Necessary? Concern opened by Johna Chriztian Godtah

Do we still need Prophets and Apostles?

Some individuals question the relevance of divine guidance in contemporary times. The writer's perspective revolves around Christ's proclamation that the Law and Prophets, as conveyed through Moses, had reached their culmination. According to this viewpoint, John the Baptist marked the conclusion of this era by introducing Christ during his time. John's pivotal role included performing the baptism of Christ, signifying the transition to Christ's ministry thereafter.

The notion that divine guidance may no longer be essential stems from the belief that the laws and teachings imparted by Moses, encapsulated in the Law and Prophets, had fulfilled their purpose with the arrival of Christ. This signifies a shift in the spiritual paradigm, marking a transition from the era of the Law and Prophets to the era of Christ's ministry.

John the Baptist's significant role as the precursor to Christ underscores the pivotal moment in history when the transition from the old to the new testament occurred. His act of baptizing Christ symbolized the commencement of Christ's ministry, signaling a new phase in the spiritual journey of humanity.

In essence, the writer's perspective highlights the transformative nature of John the Baptist's actions in heralding the advent of Christ and the subsequent initiation of his ministry. It underscores a shift in divine guidance from the era of the Law and Prophets to the era of Christ's teachings and ministry, emphasizing the profound significance of this transition in the spiritual narrative.

Matthew 11:13. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

From a Comment Section

Here are some scripture verses from both ancient and modern scripture that underline the importance of prophets and apostles, emphasizing that their roles continue to be crucial in guiding the Church of Jesus Christ and its members. Consider the questions in bullet and try responding on it if you would like to.

EPHESIANS 4:11-14
Paul explains the roles within the Church, including apostles and prophets, are to build up the body of Christ, so we all come to unity and maturity in our faith.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
  • How could such work of the ministry be done if there's not even a complete foundation of Christ Church?

AMOS 3:7
Demonstrates the Lord’s pattern of revealing His will to His people through prophets.
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

  • Does the Lord God couldn't able to tell or reveal his words or secret to anyone without a Prophet?

MATTHEW 16:18
Jesus speaks to Peter about building His church upon the rock of revelation, indicating the foundational role of apostles.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

  • So, why do we need (Rock) Revelation just to have a church?

Note: Πέτρος Petros in Greek simply means rock, hence the name Peter originated. Peter was actually not the person was addressed or Christ pointed out, but rather Christ mean revelation and Peter was representing the Apostles as Christ ordain to minister to the people and stablish his kingdom, and that revelation has its vital role. His words to him clearly stated on something about the authority and constant revelation the Church need so it would never fall or as Christ stated the Gates of Hell could not prevail.

In Latter-Day Saints perspective, here's some selected verses to sustain the Biblical Standards and Theology

Article of Faith 5 (Pearl of Great Price) - A direct statement about the belief in modern-day prophets.

We believe that a man must be called of God by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

Doctrine and Covenants 1:38 Affirms that the words of the Lord, whether from His own mouth or through His servants the prophets, are the same.

What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.

These verses illustrate that throughout history, the Lord has always communicated His will through prophets and apostles. In Latter-day Saint belief, this pattern continues today, with modern prophets and apostles playing a vital role in guiding the church and its members. They're seen as witnesses of Jesus Christ, tasked with teaching His gospel and administering His ordinances, ensuring the Church remains on the path Christ has set.

Some additional biblical verses for fun

Acts 11:28 Agabus was mentioned as a prophet. In other event his name was also mentioned in Acts 21:10 and prior to that verse (which is v.8-9), there was Philip the Evangelist who in some case has a daughter who prophesied or has the gift of Prophecy just as the Prophets.

8. And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
9. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
10. And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Joseph Smith Molestation Issue: by Eliza Lino Abaya the Cunning Artist of INC

INC cunning ways to shift the subject, the Art of Deception were they use their skills just to prevent the right history and to avoid issues that could lead them to question their faith. Overall, they are experts in this field of cunning ways. But let's take a look some of it and address this issue to satisfy their demands.

From a Comments

She probably a boy or maybe a troll. To think she's a girl possibly too young to learn the Art of Lying, but she's expert on it. Anyway, she said in her comments was:

...SI CRISTO...PRINSIPE NG KAPAYAPAAN...

PAG MARAMING ASAWA ..WALNG KAPAYAPAAN ..SA SAMBAHAYAN.

KATULAD NI JS ...PINATAY SIYA...KASI...DAMI NG MINOLESTEYA

Yes, it is true Christ is the Prince of Peace as Isaiah stated in 9th chapter of 6th verse which said -
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
So, basically Christ as per INC goes, was the same person being prophesied by Isaiah and which indeed not just the Prince of Peace, but the Mighty God of Peace. This passage was also quote by Nephi who understood the message of Isaiah in the upcoming even of his life. (see Nephi 19:6)

Now while we have established that this Christ is the Mighty God of Peace, we can clearly understand that this was the same being who called up Holy Men during the times of the Prophet. If so, then it was the same being who allows the same Polygamy that was ever introduced by the prophet. Now there goes the question. Why would a God of Peace allowed this kind of Practices which confused the understanding of the mind of the People? Why would He break his own words which simply distracts the teachings of Marriage? I don't know, perhaps He has planned on something of their generations or maybe he wants those prophets to be responsible in their paternal calling. We don't know, it was already been stablished even in the days of old to marry a wife (singular) which even in the days of Adam (Genesis 2:24). While this kind of Practices is not actually explained much in the scriptures, it is safe to say that God ordained it.

If you want to go dive deeper on this subject which I had covered some of it in this blog, just go ahead and use the search box to explore I will make a new Post to link up some of those subject.

Going back to the issue, was it the very reason why Joseph Smith was killed because he molested women?

First of all, defining Molestation or sexual abuse is different that a sexual relationship with someone whom you love. This may sound awkward in discussing private matter to an open religious discussion, but let's face it, God given us Genders and Sex for his very own purpose. Though it is unusual to discuss such sensitive matter, but for the sake of the issue we will give the very best we can to addressed it. Anyway, to answer it straight, there's no record of any Molestation happened during Joseph's days. There may be Sexual intercourse or relationship, but too far for such thing as Libido. If Joseph Smith was a Libido, rest assure he couldn't lead the church in a short period of time, or before he was killed and most of the time being hunted down.

Also, Joseph Smith was killed on June 27, 1844, at Carthage Jail in Carthage, Illinois. He and his brother Hyrum were awaiting trial on charges related to the destruction of the Nauvoo Expositor printing press. The Nauvoo Expositor was a newspaper that had published a single edition which included criticisms of Joseph Smith and allegations of his practice of polygamy, among other accusations. This event escalated tensions between Latter-day Saints and some Illinois residents, leading to their deaths by an armed mob.

Joseph Smith did practice plural marriage, as directed by what he reported as revelation from God. The practice was controversial then, as it is now, and contributed to the tensions and opposition he faced. However, his death was the result of a complex mix of religious, political, and social conflicts of the time, rather than the accusation mentioned by our INC friend Eliza Lino Abaya.

If you're not impressed let's go ahead to a historical account of Joseph Smith so we could gather information of a report of molestation.
  • For insights into polygamy during Joseph Smith’s era, you can explore the article “Polygamy (Joseph Smith Era)
  • And for those contemplating the concept of polygamy in eternity, the article “Polygamy in Eternity” here could provide some perspective.

My short Response of his senseless comments.

This topic is not actually a big issue for me since we are not in Joseph Smith Time, Polygamy were not allowed as the Manifesto goes, and we believe in Continuous Revelation. But people seems affected to history where they never think those days people has different social understanding and standards. Instead of going through critical thinking, this kind of people simply goes on to their ideology without self mastery and logic and goes on to their  criticisms that they don't even know the whole context.

The Only solution to your problem Eliza Lino Abaya, is to know the history first before making things up.

Her Conclusion

As I can see that, haven't you look at yourself on the mirror?

Christ never opened up a topic such as Polygamy or whatsoever during those days, but since we have established the Christ in the Old days, he knows the reason why was it all about. And possibly he was the same being who ordained it. Thank you for opening up Isaiah 9:6 for me.

In conclusion, as Eliza Lino Abaya tries to make a good point in dismissing the LDS teachings, but she failed in her own cunning ways, and possibly she was brainwashed by some of her Ministers so she could no longer dive deeper on the subject but rather make a direct conclusion she never knew. She never has any idea of how and what the exact history goes, but rather made up her own interpretations that it is wrong and Joseph Smith was a Libido or Sexually Predator were they mostly use to control the discussion and avoid answering the questions of their belief and ideology. This was already proven on our previous conversation with Eliza Lino Abaya. Have a nice day.

Plurality of Gods: Jose Magadia

While Jose Magadia's Unitarian Understanding of God, he compile some of his Magnum Opus to debunked LDS theology of plurality of God or possibly he meant Polytheism. He thinks LDS sustains the idea of polytheistic. Maybe or maybe something needs to be Settles.

Jerry Nuñez Bustillo
As you wish... Here's one...
Let's compare what LDS teaches with what The Almighty God of the Bible teaches, shall we?

Now, here's the Challenge goes. Let take some of it below -

LDS says:

“I wish to declare I have always an in all congregations when I have preached on the subject of Deity, it has been the plurality of Gods.” - Prophet Joseph Smith, History of the Church, v. 6, p. 306

“In the beginning, the head of the Gods called a council of the Gods; and they came together and concocted a plan to create the world and people it.”
- Prophet Joseph Smith, History of the Church, v. 6, pp. 307, 308

Jose Magadia quoted actually of the same source which actually the same addressed during the King Follett Discourses. So does Joseph Smith's address was all about Polytheism? Did Joseph Smith taught about worshiping Gods which is of different beings? Or does he meant there is one who stands greater among the rest of them? Go ahead and read back how it was being said.

Anyways, let's try to check out how Joseph Smith's conclusion regarding his discourses if it was all about Polytheism.

In the beginning, the head of the Gods called a council of the Gods and they came together and concocted a plan to create the world and people it. When we begin to learn this way, we begin to learn the only true God, and what kind of a being we have got to worship. Having a knowledge of God, we begin to know how to approach him, and how to ask so as to receive an answer. When we understand the character of God, and how to come to him, he begins to unfold the heavens to us, and to tell us all about it. When we are ready to come to him, he is ready to come to us. - Joseph Smith (THE KING FOLLETT DISCOURSE)

How did you understand that Jose Magadia? Did it said about worshiping the other gods? It doesn't sound anything like it. Moving on -

“If we should take a million of worlds like this and number their particles, we should find that there are more Gods than there are particles of matter in those worlds.” - Apostle Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, v. 2, p. 345, February 18, 1855

The TRUE God of the Bible says:

"..before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." - Isaiah 43:10

By just reading only the best part of your doctrine, you will missed a lot of puzzles that could enlightened your understanding about the context of the scripture and to who this was all about. Take note that this was Isaiah Messianic declaration where the Lord was speaking through Isaiah for the people and nations who never knew him. But this was not just about it. This also address the teachings of Christ and his Nature. The rest of the verse below will help you understand the rest of the context about it, see the highlighted words (Isaiah 43:10-13) -

10. Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

11. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

12. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

13. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Does it sounds familiar to you Jose Magadia? It was the Old Testaments God who declared there was no other saviour besides him. So what was Christ doing if God himself was the only saviour that everyone knows? What's the use of having a new saviour?

The other phrase like in verse 13 said about Christ Origin and Nature. Let's take a look some of it during Christ Ministry -

56. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
59. Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

This declaration highlights Jesus' pre-mortal existence and His divine identity. It echoes the name of God revealed to Moses in the Old Testament (Exodus 3:14), where God identified Himself as "I AM," signifying eternal presence and existence. Same addressed that was used by Isaiah in Isaiah 43:13 were you left to quote Jose Magadia. By using this phrase, Jesus was not only affirming His pre-existence before Abraham but was also making a clear claim to divinity, which was understood by His audience, as evidenced by their reaction in the subsequent verses.

In Latter-day Saint theology, the belief in the pre-mortal existence of all humanity, along with Christ's distinct and divine role as the Creator and our Savior, provides further depth to our understanding of these words. It underscores the teaching that Jesus Christ is Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Great I AM, who condescended to come to earth to fulfill the plan of salvation.

That same declaration was one of the reason why the people wanted to Crucify Jesus Christ, that declaration itself was the proof of his magistrate.

"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST; AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD. ...Is there a God beside me? yea, THERE IS NO GOD; I KNOW NOT ANY." - Isaiah 44:6, 8

It's the same Messianic Declaration of Isaiah and some Familiar references that says about Christ in the New Testament. Now let's try to see some Biblical Parallel of Isaiah's words and what was this all about.

  • Lord the King of Israel

Zechariah 9:9c- This Old Testament prophecy foretells the coming of Zion's King, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey…” This is directly fulfilled in the New Testament when Jesus enters Jerusalem in this manner (see Matthew 21:4-5).

Isaiah 9:6-7 - This passage is a prophecy about the coming Messiah, stating, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” This passage explicitly speaks to the divine nature of the Messiah and his eternal rule, attributes that Christians attribute to Jesus Christ.

Psalm 110:1-2 - "The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'" This is acknowledged in the New Testament as referring to Christ, particularly in Matthew 22:44, where Jesus Himself uses this Psalm to explain His divine authority and messianic identity.

Matthew 27:11 and John 18:37 – In the New Testament, Jesus is directly asked if He is the king of the Jews, and He affirms it, though His kingdom is not of this world. His kingship is acknowledged even in the inscription on the cross, "King of the Jews," meant to be mocking but instead testifying to His true identity.

Revelation 19:16 – In the revelation given to John, Jesus is described in His glorified state, with “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” inscribed on His robe and thigh, affirming His supreme authority over all kings and nations, including Israel.

Matthew 2:1-2 - After His birth, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem asking, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?” This acknowledges Jesus' royal status from His birth, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah's lineage and kingship.

  • The redeemer -
Old Testament Prophecies:

Isaiah 53:4-5: This chapter is a beautiful foreshadowing of Christ's atoning sacrifice. Verse 5 specifically says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." This is a clear prophecy about Jesus Christ taking upon Himself the sins of the world, thus acting as our Redeemer.
Job 19:25: Job expresses his testimony of a Redeemer, saying, "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth." This is a profound declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, who is the Redeemer of all mankind.
New Testament Affirmations:

Galatians 3:13: Paul explains, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree." This shows that through His sacrifice, Jesus fulfilled the law and redeemed us from its curse.
1 Peter 1:18-19: Peter testifies of the Redeemer, saying, "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." This emphasizes that our redemption is made possible not by earthly means but by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Titus 2:13-14: Paul calls Jesus "our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" who "gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." This is a direct declaration of Jesus Christ's role as our Redeemer.
Revelation 5:9-10: Here, Christ is praised as the Redeemer in a heavenly scene: "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation." This heavenly acknowledgment of Christ's role as Redeemer highlights the universal scope of His atonement.

To sum it up, let's take a look at LDS theology about the Nature of God. Are LDS polytheistic? No, or perhaps it has a different understanding on how you take the scriptural evidence about the Nature of God, but we do believe that all of us has the potential to become like our parent or our Heavenly Father. We do believe in just one True God that we honor and worship as the scripture says, and we also believe that we are the same being as they are.

Now Jer, pls support your doctrine of plurality of gods based on the holy scriptures...

Done already, thank you for reminding and be enlightened.
