Alright another long post from an INC antagonist who tries to make something just out of their selected collection. And it seems has a long post to make a good comment on this one. I don't know if this will leads to a part two. Let's see what we can get -

The question goes as if it tries to test something out of some documents about Joseph Smith Jr was a true prophet of God. I actually answered some of the same questions before and compare it to their called Sugo as how it had authority and how to know he was called of God. Fare question actually, but it would be better to make a comparison of the two. Let's see how it will end.

Okay, so some introductions you want to open up to help the audience about this topic. It nice to know that, but unfortunately we don't believe in a close cannon. We believe that God will continue to reveal and guide his people. There are biblical evidence that proves us that revelations is continuous. For example, Paul's teaching to the Corinthians about the heaven's he saw that there's a man caught up in heaven that he never knew what it was and what language they're saying. Could this be a mystery only Paul did receive while non of the other apostle taught about it?

1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I WILL COME TO VISIONS AND REVELATIONS OF THE LORD.

2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) SUCH AN ONE CAUGHT UP TO THE THIRD HEAVEN.

3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I CANNOT TELL: GOD KNOWETH;)

Paul's Revelation is actually foreign in the teachings of prior apostle and wasn't even revealed by Christ. But he saw something out of Revelation that something needs to be unveiled by someone who has the same revelations and prophecy. So, who has it? I don't know, but perhaps this will verify our view and understand about the nature of God. He will never cease to guide and leads his people without someone to guide them. As in Amos 3:7 says God will do nothing, but he revealed his secrets unto his servants the prophets. Which simply means, he would not do any work unless someone will represent it for him. And that's where the prophets has its role.

First, thing's first. Let's try to see the contexts -

If you think this was all about the end of the prophets, better think again, Jeremiah is a prophet of that time, and during the Babelonian captivity, the people of the Lord adapted the teachings of Paganism. They were in bondage to Babelonian and some of them disregarded the teachings of the prophets, while some try to lead away people from the truth and proclaim to be a prophet of God. But actually God never calls them. See example in the chapters ahead to it, specifically in Jeremiah 28 shows an example of a false prophet Hananiah of that time who mislead people from the truth. Here's a word from Jeremiah to know about the true prophet of God -

Jeremiah 28:9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.

Paano makikilala ang TUNAY NA SUGO ng Diyos?

Isaias 8:20

Sa KAUTUSAN at sa PATOTOO! kung hindi sila magsalita ng ayon sa salitang ito, tunay na walang umaga sa kanila.

This is epic, you are now trying to adapt you INC ideology of Sugo. But you never think of the question on how to know them. This is what Christ said -

Matthew 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Christ did never said there will be no more prophets or prophets days are over. But rather a warning to beware of false prophets and to know the true prophet, it is by their fruit. Did he says something about last messenger? I don't think so, but let try your idea about it.

Ibig sabihin kung hindi taglay ng isang mangangaral ang dalawang katangiang binanggit ng Diyos, ang nasa kanila ay hindi liwanag kundi kadiliman – ang mga mangangaral na ito ay hindi mga tunay na sugo ng Diyos kundi MGA BULAANG PROPETA o MGA BULAANG GURO.

I couldn't think of anything that would relate your post about knowing a prophet by just simply elaborating "Kautusan and Patotoo", not even close. Anyway, for the sake of commenting your post. God already provided you a scripture and as you claim on the first place "hindi nagkukulang and Dios sa pagbigay ng gabay" so why are we stock on it while the scripture as Christ said the only way to know the prophet AND/OR Sugo was through their fruit. And for the record there's nothing new Laws or even Commandments that has been given by your true messenger rather all of it were already written. You just can't simply claim you're a true sugo by just claiming some writings not even yours or should we say were not directed by God through your Sugo. And for the second part "Patotoo". What kind of Testimony was all about? The scripture has said in the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word will be stablished. So far, none could prove Felix Manalo's divine calling while Joseph Smith has 2 separate event to testify about his calling. The Three witnesses and Eight witnesses. And for the record, during some hard times, most of the witness left the church and some did never came back, but they never deny the testimony they knew and heard and saw that Joseph Smith, the unlearned man is indeed the prophet of God.
