YOU ARE THE REASON

You are the reason why I write
Poetry and prose full of delight,
This is the truth that I cannot hide,
You made my thought so deep and wide.


You are the reason why my pen
Is writing the song of beauty and life’s hymn,
You are the aspiration that I yearn
And the plenitude of my dream.


You are the reason why my life’s guitar
Is being played in every hour,
You are indeed my twinkling star
That shines on me from afar.


You are the reason why my life
Is being inspired for day and night,
You give me hope and kindling light,
You have broadened my life’s insight.


You are the reason why my world
Is getting bigger and untold,
You are the reason to unfold
The life’s mystery that I behold.


You are the reason why I’ve felt
This strange feeling in my inner self,
You are the reason why I reflect
The highest form of intellect.
