From Conference Message “This Is My Gospel”—“This Is My Church” By Elder Dale G. Renlund Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
From the Conference Message: The Triumph of Hope

Alright everyone and for our new blog article taken from the Conference Message. Let's talk about hope. Not the fluffy, "everything will be okay" kind of hope, but the real deal – the kind that keeps you going when life throws its surprises. It's not just a feeling; it's like a lifeline, a deep, inner strength that helps us navigate the messy, uncertain parts of life. So let's talk about it this article.
Women in Silence
_1.jpeg)
The topic of women keeping silent in church, as mentioned in the New Testament, can be quite perplexing and is often discussed among Christians. The primary scriptures that address this are found in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1 Timothy 2:11-12.
Friends in Times of Trouble

Friendship, a cornerstone of a fulfilling life, offers companionship, understanding, and shared experiences that enrich our journey. However, even the strongest bonds face challenges.

Family History visit with Stake Leaders
As the first Sunday of December rolled around, we found ourselves looking at the final stretch of 2024 and the last month of the fourth quarter. It's been a big push to get everyone on our list involved in Family History work and become active Submitter by the end of the month. Our efforts are supported by the presence of Stake Leaders and Elder Decano, who serves as the Service Missionary in the IBA Philippines Stake.

Was it Fooling an Ant, or Fooling Ourselves?

Can you trick an ant by just luring them to a small amount of food and take it out after it summons a team? Will they lost their trust to their fellow ant?

Karma is Real in Biblical Account. - Part 1
These were the worst Karma Collection in the scriptures that I'd remember how it seems realistic in our days,. So here it is and hope I could remember some of it to add to the list, or maybe you could suggest some. Some Spoilers, it's not necessarily Karma but there might be the outcome consequences of disobedience. It would take longer since I need to check out some of its references. so far, here's the part one. Enjoy

Ministering with a Ward Activity
This is not actually a format Ministering program, rather it is just a Barkada Trip to our New Member Friend. We visit this couple and discide to have a lunch with them. They were already Old and doesn't any relative in the area. We try to get to know more about them and enjoy the meal with the Branch Members of Bulawen. I have few pictures with some other stuff that I found in their backyard and seem like interesting to collect.
Will, anyway they're Humble couple though they're at the old age, still they actively participate church programs and learn about the restoration. The place was actually remote and had about a some kilometers walk from their home to the road where they could wait for a ride to church and it took a lot of sacrifices. And this couple are doing it almost everyday in their life to live.
Their not Actually in the pictures but I'll make a separate post for them.

Come, Follow Me: Scriptural Insights - Helaman 7-12
![]() |
Illustration of Nephi in a garden tower, by Jerry Thompson |
Overview: Helaman 7-12 features significant events and teachings, including Nephi's lamentation over the wickedness of the Nephites, his prophecy of the coming of Christ, and his remarkable demonstration of God’s power.
Helaman 7: Lamentation of Nephi
Helaman 7:7-9
Nephi grieves for the corruption of his people and wished to trade places with his forefathers, as their iniquity pained his soul.
- Insight: Just as Nephi mourns the state of his society, we too can feel grief for the sin we see around us. However, it's important we turn our grief into positive actions and reach out to help and teach others about Christ.
Helaman 8:22-23
Nephi reminds the people about the deliverance of their ancestors through Moses as a symbol of Christ's future Atonement.
- Insight: Nephi uses historical and scriptural examples to remind the people of God's ever-present hand and the promise of Christ. We too can draw strength and testimony from past prophets' experiences and teachings.
Helaman 9:20-23
A dramatic sequence where Nephi's prophecy regarding the murder of the chief judge is confirmed.
- Insight: True prophets have the ability to receive revelation about both current events and the future. Nephi's prophetic accuracy strengthens faith in God's ongoing guidance through His chosen servants.
Helaman 10:4-5
As a result of his steadfastness and faithfulness, Nephi is granted the sealing power, to bind and loose on earth and in heaven.
- Insight: The sealing power is significant in Latter-day Saint theology and shows the trust God places in His faithful servants. It's a reminder of the importance of remaining steadfast in faith.
Helaman 11:4-6
Nephi uses the sealing power to bring a famine, leading the people to repentance.
- Insight: Sometimes, hardships lead to greater spiritual reflection and change. Nephi’s use of the sealing power demonstrates the Lord's willingness to teach His people through difficult circumstances.
Helaman 12:1-3
A philosophical summary of human nature, highlighting how humans often forget God during times of prosperity and remember him in suffering.
Each section of Helaman 7-12 provides profound insights into how faith and prophecy work in the lives of God’s children. These scriptures encourage continual reflection on our actions, reliance on past prophetic words, and the importance of humility and devotion to God.
For further personal or group study, consider how these lessons apply to current challenges we face and how we might better follow Christ as Nephi did. Remember, every scripture story has something to teach us about living a faithful life in modern times!

- How do Nephi's feelings and actions towards wickedness influence our understanding of our responsibilities in society today?
