Family History Program: Bulawen Saints

Pictures Collected during the actual activity.

Bulawen Branch has a few saints in the entire IBA Philippines Stake. But here they gave the very best numbers supporting the Lord’s work beyond the veil. They're dominating in support so far as the past Sundays in the other wards. Most Group Leaders were there to support the work; Clerk, Young Women, Relief Society, with Elder's Quorum President and the Counselor assigned.

Neil Andi Anderson: Was an Attitude defines a religion?

This man has so much hate. I could actually put a lot of screenshots of our exchanges and how this fanatic person is so rude and unchristian in his way of conversing on social media. This is not actually new; there are others out there who did the same thing, and both sides, just to be fair. But this guy, even when you're too kind to make a good discussion, seems not to control the hatred and rude comments, which sometimes leads to ad hominem.

    1. Why would the INC Church accept such an attitude?
    2. Was this teaching also part of INC theology?
    3. If not. Then what kind of people are they that turn away from Christ's teachings and love?

Conversation from Job Bautista's Post.

His Last Christian Word, as he claimed to be a Christian.
Funny how this kind of attitude exists in INC
and teaches Goodness in their Fundamental Beliefs.
Of course, he's a troll, and every fanatic troll could do that,
which simply harms the INC ideology.

Martin Luther in the Doctrine of Neil Andi Anderson

Martin Luther as one of the angel?

Our conversation with Neil Andi Anderson (a member of INC using fake name and account)

The only thing that bothers me was, how come that it was on your doctrine and yet you never believe in man's religion? Why would you need to get him on the list of your religious idol?

Our Kikay is now a Mother

Yung Aso naming kikay noon Mother na ngayon. Just a small Content for a little memory of our Askal Kikay. We love you and you are not just our best friend. You're our family.

Neil Andi Anderson: Fail Theology

Here's another Epic Fail from one of my Friends discussing religious History and ended up fail -

So, what do you think? These people need a better theology study and yet they're good at pretending they're well-learned, and the only best they can give is just mocking. How Pathetic!

Our Dog Kikay and her Puppies

Here are some recollections of our puppies. Unfortunately, they did not survive. Some of the individuals who took in the puppies did not provide proper care for them. Despite the fact that they are now just memories, they represent the most cherished moments we have of them. These memories serve as a tribute to the puppies and the love we had for them. While their time with us was short-lived, the impact they had on our lives is everlasting. It is through these memories that we honor their presence and the joy they brought into our lives, even if it was only for a brief period. The bond we shared with these puppies will always hold a special place in our hearts, reminding us of the love and companionship they brought into our lives.

Part 11 - Job Bautista Mischievous Blind Guide

One of the videos that I created for Job Bautista was about his Concerns, or more clearly, his Criticisms about the LDS. See the video and how he misunderstood the writings.

Spoiler alert: You are about to see stuff that was created in direct reaction to those who used to mock and despise the LDS Church and its doctrines.

Dito Si Job Bautista ay gumamit ng talata at pinili lang ang parte na gusto nya iconnect sa kanyang pangutya. sa baba ay ang mga talata tungkol dito -

"1 Behold, it came to pass that I, Omni, being commanded by my father, Jarom, that I should write somewhat upon these plates, to preserve our genealogy—
2 Wherefore, in my days, I would that ye should know that I fought much with the sword to preserve my people, the Nephites, from falling into the hands of their enemies, the Lamanites. But behold, I of myself am a wicked man, and I have not kept the statutes and the commandments of the Lord as I ought to have done. - Omni 1"

"13 And ye will not have a mind to injure one another, but to live peaceably, and to render to every man according to that which is his due.
14 And ye will not suffer your children that they go hungry, or naked; neither will ye suffer that they transgress the laws of God, and fight and quarrel one with another, and serve the devil, who is the master of sin, or who is the evil spirit which hath been spoken of by our fathers, he being an enemy to all righteousness. - Mosiah 4"

Responding a Post: Joseph Smith False Prophecy - Part 1

Here's a Post from one of the critics who simply copied a source from an out-of-context quote and misunderstood the interpretation, everyone who claimed to know a thing, ends up ignorant on the issue. Let's find out -

From the life of Joseph Smith in his address to David W. Patten -

Verily, thus saith the Lord: It is wisdom in my servant David W. Patten, that he settle up all his business as soon as he possibly can, and make a disposition of his merchandise, that he may perform a mission unto me next spring, in company with others, even twelve including himself, to testify of my name and bear glad tidings unto the world.

Joseph Smith, Doctrine & Covenants 114:1, This prophecy was made on April 17, 1838. David W. Patten died in October of 1838 and thus never went on a mission the following spring.

Okay, so first, I want to shorten my comments. There were reasons that this prophecy wasn't fulfilled, and those reasons don't make someone a false prophet.

1. Persecutions were raging - David Patten died a martyr and experienced much persecution even if he needed to go to serve the Lord in some place called for him, but persecution is rising to a different level. He was willing to serve but persecution didn't let him to. Does this mean false prophecy?

2. Situation - When Jonas prophesied about the destruction of Nineveh, but God didn't let it, does that mean he is a false prophet? Of course not, everything has set into its conditions or sometimes situations. Another thing was, that Christ prophesied about his return while a generation of men in his days would not pass away to see him come again, did it happen? No! Was Christ a false prophet? Of course not! There were reasons behind it. I would like to add it soon after I made this article. Anyway, As Christ once said, it's "thy (God's) well". If God sees it doesn't fit that way, then it's all his well be done.

This was a classic criticism that they mostly quote scripture like Deuteronomy 18:22 to find it a failed prophecy but fail to understand the rest of the scriptures just as I gave recently.

When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen, or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.- Deuteronomy 18:22

So why was that? Is it all about picking up a ripe cherry while justifying the rest of the context?

National Family Week 2023

National Family Week Kickoff has already started yesterday. We weren't able to gather in the stake center due to bad weather conditions. So we were expected to do the family week activity this coming week and will be happy to do it with my family.

Treat others with Respect

Yes, it's true, everyone is biased based on his understanding and opinions. But it is also true that you can't just treat someone and judge them according to their beliefs without knowing how it went in their lives. Everyone has the right to be heard and deserves respect.

This sounds like Evangelical Theology while proclaiming Mormons are dammed. LOL!

Ministering and it's aftermath

You might find yourself wondering what life has been like for me as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and how the Church reaches out to those who aren’t actively involved. I’d like to share some of my personal experiences and reflections, which I believe highlight both my journey in the Church and the Church's ministering program.

Palauig Ward Conference: Afterwards

After the ward conference, we stayed behind for an Audit and Family History research. We have our lunch and have a little break, afterward, we begin doing some family history.

Random Picture: A fish in a bowl

The other day, as I got home from work, I saw this fish in a bowl and Jasher said that he caught it where he used to find fish in some other places he used to play with, and he told me that he got it while exploring other sea creatures. So I took a picture of it for reference 'cause he planned to eat it.

He caught some for his Dinner.

To our Dearest Friend: Sting of Death no More

Dear friend, whom we have known for a long time, may you rest in peace, brother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

- 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

Loving relationships continue beyond the doors of death and judgment. Family ties endure because of sealings in the temple. Their importance cannot be overstated.

Christianity is all about?

From The American Travail by  Mark E. Petersen

I remember my former Branch President that he always include in his sermons everytime he speaks up. The line he used to say that got stock in my ears never realizing how and what was that all about.

The words he used such as -
A hammer can never be a hammer if it doesn't serves it's purpose. Likewise a nail can never be a nail if it's not nailed or hammered. A Christian will never be a Christian if they're not acting as one. - Gerardo Terrana (Mabolo Ward, Cebu City Philippines Stake)

'til this day, this reminds me of what I am, and my purpose.

Random post and Comments

Here's one of the groups that doesn't care which is good and which isn't. Just a reminder to LDS single people who Joined a group with admins who never think of their members.

A member of the group that posted daring photos of someone with a link that leads to scam or Maybe to a site that promotes pornography or related to it.
A post that was automatically ban for some roles that does not meat in their criteria.
Post was covered for personal reason.

So,  why do you allow that post while my post was declined for no good reason? Well the answers might be,  because it wasn't monitored, or the admin doesn't care at all. So, as to those LDS who wanted to join a dating site, be aware of a kind of group that most likely unmonitored by an administrators. You might ended up losing your faith of might also lead to unhealthy discussions.

Reaching Out

Song by Isabella Hixson from 2020 Youth Music Festival.

From Youth 2020 Music Festival

Lyrics below -

Reaching Out

1. He is calling out your name
Through the dark, through the storm, ’Cause He knows where you belong.
He will help you find the way.
He’s the light in your heart
And He wants to bring you home.
So, give your will to Him.
That’s when the miracles begin.

[Chorus]
When your hope is fading
And the stars refuse to shine,
Though you’re stumbling in the dark,
He knows right where you are.
When the waves are crashing
And your burdens drag you down,
He is waiting there for you,
And His hand is reaching out.

2. He will lift you to your feet.
He will stay by your side,
And He’ll warm you with His light,
So, give your will to Him.
That’s when the miracles begin.

[Chorus]
When your hope is fading
And the stars refuse to shine,
Though you’re stumbling in the dark,
He knows right where you are.
When the waves are crashing
And your burdens drag you down,
He is waiting there for you,
And His hand is reaching out.

3. But He won’t take your hand until you reach for it, So, reach for Him.

[Chorus]
When your hope is fading
And the stars refuse to shine,
Though you’re stumbling in the dark,
He knows right where you are.
When the waves are crashing
And your burdens drag you down,
He is waiting there for you,
He is waiting there for you,
And His hand is reaching out.
