How to Put Daily Quotes in Blog or Website?

Let Virtue Garnish All My Thoughts Unceasingly

The world today has evolved and too much waste is now in the minds of the people (not a literal waste but indeed a waste that makes you change the way you act, talk, or communicate) yes, indeed a waste in our hearts and minds. Social Media makes it possible to access things so easily, even subjects that are not meant to be posted. So, how's your thought today? How did you conquer such gross things you saw recently on some social media?

Some might be Funny and some were seriously Awkward Bible verses

Okay, here are some of the collections that I found out while reading the Scriptures (The Bible), all of it were from King James Version KJV. Some were funny and some were ..., I don't know how you call it. Anyway, I wasn't doing this to destroy the image of the scriptures. I just thought there may be some of you notice things that couldn't be explain or maybe awkward in our days. Well, here it is. Just follow some of it in your Bible if I got Typo Errors.
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones - Psalms 137:9

Did I just read it right? I don't know how does it mean to you, but don't you ever do it that way. You might get killed.

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies,
and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them. - Jeremiah 19:9

That's yummy. First Time? If you are not used to it you may try it. There no harm in trying. Hahaha!

And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:
And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked. - Mark 14:51-52

He wasn't used to it. It's better that way. I don't know if he had tried wearing a nice one with tie.

Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. - Judges 19:24

Why would you do that? She is your daughter, I don't care about that man and whatever they want to him, he is a man anyway, he can defend himself.

These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.- 1 Chronicles 12:15

So, online money making that makes you rich in just one month is not a hoax. It was proven long before. I just wonder, did they use Jet plane for their Flight?

And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.
- Genesis 30:8

So, WWF for women division was not new, they even have trophies. The only missing was the updates.

Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass
or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again. - Deuteronomy 22:4

Oh thank you. You spell it right. I thought am I reading something.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers,
beware of the concision. -Philippians 3:2

So it is biblical at all. Careful, those were not ordinary dogs. It was trained to kill you.

Surprising wasn't it? LOL! Thank you for visiting my blog. That was most of the things that I had read, There were some that I didn't include for some reason. If you think you have more verses to add just contact me and let me add it for you.

Book of Mormon English to Cebuano Translation - Some Awkward Interpretation

Random Pictures on General Conference

Conference is an opportunity to learn about what God's chosen servants want us to do or to prepare. Their inspire messages will helps and reminds us to be more prepared ahead. God wants us to be happy and to come back to Him someday with His Son and our Family. But our life is not easy, so He prepare a way and called servants to lead us to His path. Though, sometimes we drift and round the bind, but God is always there for us and help us. The only thing that we need to do is to obey the Commandments he gave us. Follow His Son Jesus Christ and make a wise decision. Right choices will lead to the right path to Him. While ignoring His Commandment will lead us away from the path prepared for us to eternity.

Celebrating Lolo's Birthday - Tragedy Victim from Tacloban wants his Family Reunited

Cebu City, a video from Netizen who offer a Birthday cake of an old man who was a victim of one of the Philippines Tragic Disaster in Tacloban and Leyte area. The Video shows their compassion towards the old man who now live in a street hoping to reunite with his family again. The USJR Students sings a Happy Birthday song and had him (the Old man) blow the candle and wish. It was his 97th Birthday, so this students planned to have him celebrate his simple birthday, then they took a video hoping to deliver it to his family someday, she mentioned names thought she wasn't sure of the names spelling (Mary Kristine Salaver and Mary Concit Salaver). In his video caption from Miss Shannie Ortiz Batiquin say's "celebrating lolo's birthday" tag with his friends Genito Batiquin and 6 others. Their (the Students) main intention is to let this be know in the public that perhaps it could help Lolo (Filipino Term for Grandfather) find or have this video reach his family in Manila as what he says in his story.

A Conversation to Unfriend

One of my FB friends posted this picture. I commented on it that lead us to end our relationship. Sorry about that, but it is too much if you can't do anything for the sake of goodness to our country and to my religion then you are off the list. My apology to my old fb friend that's how our friendship ends.

Felix Purpora shared Silent No More's photo.

Silent No More
Dear Fellow Filipinos,

What is the logic in this?
"Tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are."
Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano, any comments?

Reminder brother if i'm correct you go to HELL if i'm wrong see you there.

Jerry Nuñez Bustillo: I'm a non-partisan hindi ko gusto kahit the way siya magsalita, but posting videos, pictures and comments against him won't change a thing. I am a Mormon and we believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers and magistrates in obeying, honoring ang sustaining the law (1 Peter 2:13-19), at kailanman wala ako paki kung sino maging presidente at kung ano ugali meron sila, as far as I know, kung ano man siya I will support for the sake of the country, wala pa ako nakitang source na hindi trabaho ng president ang paghuli ng Pushers or paglinis sa Bansa. If yan lang nakikita natin dahil sa mga nabangit nya at hindi yung mga changes or mga success na dapat nating ipagmamalaki, then wala tayong pag-unlad. All I ask is to move on, wala na magagawa yang mga pag post ng paninira sa ikauulad ng bansa. If mali man ang presidente, then he is accountable for it, but it is our responsibility to support and to address what should be done (hindi paninira). You mention sayang lang ang pagsama ko sa mga missionaries, in other words, ang pagiging member ko sa simbahan, I don't know what's the connection. But we Mormons sustain whoever rules in a country, pasinsya na kung masyado ako patriot. Ito lang siguro para simple, wala ako paki kung sino man sila basta ako susuporta. Sorry about that Brother, siguro napuno lang ako sa subrang post nakikita ko na walang namang patunguhan. If you think na nakabubuti i-unfriend kita so be it. Thank you for your courage as a filipino, but I know what I believe is right in the eyes of my God. You already cast me into hell. Okay, I will make heaven there, with people who love and support each other and be united as one.

1 Peter 2:13-19 -

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

Success

I never let one foot behind when I want to step-up, I never let only one knee bend when I need prayers answered. Leaders are called of God

Never give a change or tolerate those people who make a move just let you doubt the truth. Stay close to those people who taught you to be faithful and help you become strong. If those friends even the closest member friends tells you that there is something wrong in the leadership that is in the church, then tell them to start their own religion and show a good leadership then preach it to me. If they are wrong, then you should be right.

Leaders are called of God whatever and whoever they are, no one will ever debate that they are just a man prone to faults and failures, but no one can ever debate that they are called of God.

Legend of the Makahiya Plant | Ang Alamat ng Makahiya

I read some of the great legends of this plant or fable of the Makahiya plant. Others tell a good detail about the story. But I could get a great story about this from my father who told me the story when I was young. I don't know where my father got this fable or legend but I found it interesting.

So, I decided to have it posted on the web, perhaps I could give a good memory of a good story from my father who'd passed away.
The Origin of Makahiya Plan.
Fable retold by Jerry Bustillo

Anti Age Discrimination Bill - For Real?

I remember one time while I was in Cebu City. The place where I was raised and born. Lots of excitement, a place where I gain much knowledge and experience in my youth. And a place where education is a priority if you want to grab an opportunity for you to live a life of plenty.

But I couldn't grab any of those, some reasons were - Booth my parents passed away before I finished High School, my mother passed away when I was in the 4th grade and my father passed away while on my first year in high school. During those times, me and my brothers were raised by my grandparent who only have a sari-sari store and a room for rent. I lost my focus on study while on my youth days, I am not serious about it and no one ever care anyway. And it all ended up that I don't have a good job and an education to attain high since we don't have funds.

One day I told my grandparent to help me finish my schooling (High School), I don't care if it was in the lowest class of education, as long as I got an education so that I can present something to the company wherever I need a job for a living. I did study hard, I even study Computer Trouble Shootings and basic programs, though it's not actually an actual education or training for I only study it in the National Bookstores after school. So I gain knowledge until I finished High School.

Then guess what? Every time I apply for a job, I got denied for I am OVERAGE. WHAT THE HELL? I keep on thinking is this really in our Employment Jurisdiction or what? I was there one day with one of the companies and I saw one of my old friends who got a good job, and I could even do better than what he did in the company, yes for sure because I know him since we were young. "Sorry, your too late" That's what I'm thinking. So stupid, and I keep on blaming life that if I could just go back in time, I will not allow everything that will ruin my whole life in the future. I wished that my Mother and father was here and that they could support my study while I was young, so that I could be on time to finish my study and got good employment.

I hope it will change one day, for I know there are lots of poor people out there who wish to have a good job They study hard which took them too long because of poor living, then it will end up too late to grab it.

I got married and still, I am working hard for my family enough for living because I am overage. Then I saw some of the posts of my Facebook friends about the new Bill that was forwarded by Pia Cayetano, this will change everything. The Philippines will now be a better place to live. If this bill was forwarder on my days, how I wish it will, then my life will be more satisfied. I can study well because I know jobs and companies won't select age brackets and limits. But anyway, it is better this way.

Here is the post from Pia S. Cayetano's website and I'll repost it here so that it will be accessed easily if I want to refer it.

Promote diversity, and inclusion in the workplace

Statement on RA 10911
By Rep. Pia S. Cayetano
Taguig City, 2nd District
August 1, 2016

I am elated that the bill I pushed and worked for during my last term in the Senate has now become a law.

I first filed the bill prohibiting age discrimination in the workplace after the practice was brought to my attention in 2010 by a woman who was only in her 30s, but could no longer find a job.
I have also met former OFWs as young as 30 who find it difficult to land local employment because many employers prefer ‘younger’ hires.

What particularly struck me was the fact that many of those marginalized by this practice were mothers who had either left the workforce to care for their children, or parents who have gone abroad to work but could not get a job upon returning to our country.

I also wish to emphasize that this landmark legislation promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Even as we await the law’s implementing rules, I urge employers, job fair organizers, and publishers of job ads to start doing away with age bias and discrimination. Let us work towards promoting equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Note: Congresswoman and former senator Pia Cayetano was the principal author in the Senate of the Anti-Age Discrimination in Employment Act, which became Republic Act No. 10911 last July 21.

Dreams that I don't want to happen

Wednesday, July 27, 2016 -

After work, I walked home and decided to have a little rest early, so I did, and at 2:30, I got a nap and woke up at around 7:30 pm. I called my wife and had a short conversation. I asked to talk to my child, Jasher. She said he was watching Avengers since she brought him a new slipper with Avengers on it, then he excitedly watched the movie, so I didn't have any time to talk to him. I learned that he had a mild fever last night, and the fever is still with him. In a few minutes, the phone hung up since it is a limited call. I am awake, but I don't want to get out of bed. I played some phone games and decided to take a little nap after that.

While sleeping, I had this strange dream that made me think lonely and broke my heart while pondering on it. My dream goes like I was at work and I decided to go home early, and headed to the province just to see my family, where I found my son lying in a coffin. I started asking why and how come? The reason was that he passed away in pain and was sick for some reason that I didn't even know how it went. Then the memories of our firstborn, Shammahel, passed by, and I felt my heart melt, and it hurt within me, and I felt sad about that moment. I woke up with feelings of loneliness and sadness. I don't want that to happen again to our child, Jasher. But at the same time, some feelings of Hope have filled my heart with overwhelm, and I soon realized that I need to trust the Savior. I may not know now, but I'll come to know that God will do his part if we have faith.

At the end, the feeling that I have in my dream is so strange, but I still hope to see my son grow up in righteousness. The future is in the hands of God.

President Monson Testifies of Jesus Christ

“Our Heavenly Father’s plan contains the ultimate expressions of true love. All that we hold dear, even our families, our friends, our joy, our knowledge, our testimonies, would vanish were it not for our Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Among the most cherished thoughts and writings in this world is the divine statement of truth: ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’” —President Thomas S. Monson

Tomorrow the Lord Will Do Wonders among You.

Tomorrow the Lord Will Do Wonders among You
Jeffrey R. Holland

By Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

Keep loving. Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever.

Brothers and sisters, do you have any idea—do you have any notion or inkling whatsoever—of how much we love you? For 10 hours you watch, fixed on one face at this pulpit sequentially, but for those same 10 hours, we seated behind this pulpit watch, fixed on you. You thrill us to the center of our soul, whether that be the 21,000 here in the Conference Center, or multitudes in meetinghouses and chapels, or finally millions in homes around the globe, perhaps huddled around a family computer screen. Here you are, there you are, hour after hour, in your Sunday best, being your best. You sing and you pray. You listen and you believe. You are the miracle of this Church. And we love you.

What another remarkable general conference we have had. We have been especially blessed by President Thomas S. Monson’s presence and prophetic messages. President, we love you, we pray for you, we thank you, and above all, we sustain you. We are grateful to have been taught by you and your marvelous counselors and so many of our other great men and women leaders. We have heard incomparable music. We have been urgently prayed for and pleaded with. Truly the Spirit of the Lord has been here in rich abundance. What an inspirational weekend it has been in every way.
Now, I do see a couple of problems. One is the fact that I am the only person standing between you and the ice cream you always have ready at the close of general conference. The other potential problem is captured in this photo I saw recently on the Internet.

My apologies to all the children who are now hiding under the sofa, but the fact of the matter is none of us want tomorrow, or the day after that, to destroy the wonderful feelings we have had this weekend. We want to hold fast to the spiritual impressions we have had and the inspired teachings we have heard. But it is inevitable that after heavenly moments in our lives, we, of necessity, return to earth, so to speak, where sometimes less-than-ideal circumstances again face us.

The author of Hebrews warned us of this when he wrote, “Call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions.” That post-illumination affliction can come in many ways, and it can come to all of us. Surely every missionary who has ever served soon realized that life in the field wasn’t going to be quite like the rarefied atmosphere of the missionary training center. So too for all of us upon leaving a sweet session in the temple or concluding a particularly spiritual sacrament meeting.

Remember that when Moses came down from his singular experience on Mount Sinai, he found that his people had “corrupted themselves” and had “turned aside quickly.” There they were at the foot of the mountain, busily fashioning a golden calf to worship, in the very hour that Jehovah, at the summit of the mountain, had been telling Moses, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” and “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.” Moses was not happy with his flock of wandering Israelites that day!

During His earthly ministry, Jesus took Peter, James, and John to the Mount of Transfiguration, where, the scriptures say, “his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.”4 The heavens opened, ancient prophets came, and God the Father spoke.

After such a celestial experience, what does Jesus come down the mountain to find? Well, first He found an argument between His disciples and their antagonists over a failed blessing administered to a young boy. Then He tried to convince the Twelve—unsuccessfully, it turns out—that He would soon be delivered up to local rulers who would kill Him. Then someone mentioned that a tax was due, which was forthrightly paid. Then He had to rebuke some of the brethren because they were arguing about who would be the greatest in His kingdom. All of this led Him at one point to say, “O faithless generation, … how long shall I suffer you?” He had occasion to ask that question more than once during His ministry. No wonder He longed for the prayerful solitude of mountaintops!
Realizing that we all have to come down from peak experiences to deal with the regular vicissitudes of life, may I offer this encouragement as general conference concludes.

First of all, if in the days ahead you not only see limitations in those around you but also find elements in your own life that don’t yet measure up to the messages you have heard this weekend, please don’t be cast down in spirit and don’t give up. The gospel, the Church, and these wonderful semiannual gatherings are intended to give hope and inspiration. They are not intended to discourage you. Only the adversary, the enemy of us all, would try to convince us that the ideals outlined in general conference are depressing and unrealistic, that people don’t really improve, that no one really progresses. And why does Lucifer give that speech? Because he knows he can’t improve, he can’t progress, that worlds without end he will never have a bright tomorrow. He is a miserable man bound by eternal limitations, and he wants you to be miserable too. Well, don’t fall for that. With the gift of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the strength of heaven to help us, we can improve, and the great thing about the gospel is we get credit for trying, even if we don’t always succeed.

When there was a controversy in the early Church regarding who was entitled to heaven’s blessings and who wasn’t, the Lord declared to the Prophet Joseph Smith, “Verily I say unto you, [the gifts of God] are given for the benefit of those who love me and keep … my commandments, and [for them] that seeketh so to do.” Boy, aren’t we all thankful for that added provision “and … seeketh so to do”! That has been a lifesaver because sometimes that is all we can offer! We take some solace in the fact that if God were to reward only the perfectly faithful, He wouldn’t have much of a distribution list.
Please remember tomorrow, and all the days after that, that the Lord blesses those who want to improve, who accept the need for commandments and try to keep them, who cherish Christlike virtues and strive to the best of their ability to acquire them. If you stumble in that pursuit, so does everyone; the Savior is there to help you keep going. If you fall, summon His strength. Call out like Alma, “O Jesus, … have mercy on me.”7 He will help you get back up. He will help you repent, repair, fix whatever you have to fix, and keep going. Soon enough you will have the success you seek.

“As you desire of me so it shall be done unto you,” the Lord has declared.
“… Put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good—yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously. …
“… [Then] whatsoever you desire of me [in] righteousness, … you shall receive.
I love that doctrine! It says again and again that we are going to be blessed for our desire to do good, even as we actually strive to be so. And it reminds us that to qualify for those blessings, we must make certain we do not deny them to others: we are to deal justly, never unjustly, never unfairly; we are to walk humbly, never arrogantly, never pridefully; we are to judge righteously, never self-righteously, never unrighteously.

My brothers and sisters, the first great commandment of all eternity is to love God with all of our heart, might, mind, and strength—that’s the first great commandment. But the first great truth of all eternity is that God loves us with all of His heart, might, mind, and strength. That love is the foundation stone of eternity, and it should be the foundation stone of our daily life. Indeed it is only with that reassurance burning in our soul that we can have the confidence to keep trying to improve, keep seeking forgiveness for our sins, and keep extending that grace to our neighbor.

President George Q. Cannon once taught: “No matter how serious the trial, how deep the distress, how great the affliction, [God] will never desert us. He never has, and He never will. He cannot do it. It is not His character [to do so]. … He will [always] stand by us. We may pass through the fiery furnace; we may pass through deep waters; but we shall not be consumed nor overwhelmed. We shall emerge from all these trials and difficulties the better and purer for them.”

Now, with that majestic devotion ringing from heaven as the great constant in our lives, manifested most purely and perfectly in the life, death, and Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, we can escape the consequences of both sin and stupidity—our own or that of others—in whatever form they may come to us in the course of daily living. If we give our heart to God, if we love the Lord Jesus Christ, if we do the best we can to live the gospel, then tomorrow—and every other day—is ultimately going to be magnificent, even if we don’t always recognize it as such. Why? Because our Heavenly Father wants it to be! He wants to bless us. A rewarding, abundant, and eternal life is the very object of His merciful plan for His children! It is a plan predicated on the truth “that all things work together for good to them that love God.” So keep loving. Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever.

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard?” Isaiah cried.
“[God] giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. …
“… They that wait upon [Him] shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. …

“For … the Lord … God will hold [their] right hand, saying unto [them], Fear not; I will help thee.”
Brothers and sisters, may a loving Father in Heaven bless us tomorrow to remember how we felt today. May He bless us to strive with patience and persistence toward the ideals we have heard proclaimed this conference weekend, knowing that His divine love and unfailing help will be with us even when we struggle—no, will be with us especially when we struggle.

If gospel standards seem high and the personal improvement needed in the days ahead seems out of reach, remember Joshua’s encouragement to his people when they faced a daunting future. “Sanctify yourselves,” he said, “for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” I declare that same promise. It is the promise of this conference. It is the promise of this Church. It is the promise of Him who performs those wonders, who is Himself “Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, … The Prince of Peace.” Of Him I bear witness. Of Him I am a witness. And to Him this conference stands as a testament of His ongoing work in this great latter day. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
