It's Christmas Day, and my wife, along with some relatives, invited us to join them for a visit. They planned to visit some family members in Liozon, so we traveled with them and enjoyed some food with the Lizada family. We aren't very close to these relatives since they are on my wife's mother’s side, but we had a good time getting to know them and learning about their background.
During our visit, my wife shared something that had embarrassed her. One of her close relatives, someone she used to be very friendly with before going abroad, did not recognize her. It felt strange because she and this relative were close friends before she left the country. Despite having been away for a few years, my wife figured her friend would still recognize her. However, it was her younger siblings, not this particular friend, who immediately acknowledged my wife.
This odd situation made my wife feel uncomfortable. She found it peculiar that the younger siblings remembered her more clearly than her old friend, especially given their close past relationship. Despite everything, we decided to remain true to ourselves.
Overall, the day was full of surprises. We visited several other houses in Liozon, meeting more of their relatives.
