Note: This is only part of some questions that might be interesting in the discussion. There are others actually na hindi ko na sinasama, but perhaps you could include them if you think they might be helpful in the discussions. So don't limit everything just to these subjects; these are just guidelines that might also be the focus of the lessons. Thank you, and take your time studying the scriptures.
And how do you know that the wisdom you receive is from God when there are things that you did not understand or experience? Say, for example, tithing: How do you know that the knowledge you receive about this Law is really from God if you don't have experienced anything that God works in it when you obey the Law?
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Ano ang ibig sabihin ng “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart” sa practical na buhay? Is trusting the Lord ba ay enough for us to have a belief that every situation, like conflicts or trials, will all end up in a happy ending?
Proverbs 3:11-12 - Bakit kaya minsan ang correction o discipline ay blessing, kahit uncomfortable ito or nakakahiya or maybe sometimes degrading? How can we learn to see correction as love rather than rejection? Though leaders sometimes discipline and make decisions that might make you feel judged or chastised, or may look at it as inappropriate when you know the standard of the person, do you look at it as a correction, or do you look at it as unrighteous judgment?
Proverbs 4:23 - “Keep thy heart with all diligence.” Sa panahon ngayon ng social media, videos, entertainment, AI, at endless scrolling of content and information, ano ang mga bagay na kailangan nating bantayan dahil unti-unti nitong naaapektuhan ang puso at isipan natin? Is it okay to get engaged and take part? Why or why not?
Proverbs 15:1 - “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” Silence is Golden, but is it okay to be silent all the time when someone is in a rage of anger? There may be times when it is good to speak up to someone angry, so how do you control the situation?
Proverbs 15:3 - Kung alam nating “the eyes of the Lord are in every place,” paano nito dapat baguhin ang behavior natin kapag walang ibang taong nakakakita? Do you think the Lord has control of the situations since nakikita naman Niya kahit saang lugar? Do you think this also limits your Agency?
Proverbs 16:2 - "All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes." How can the Spirit help us become more honest with ourselves? What's the relevance nitong verse sa phrase na "Eye single to the Glory of God" Doctrine and Covenants 4:5 and how can we make our eye single to the Glory of God?
Proverbs 16:18 - "Pride goeth before destruction." Pride is also one of the Seven Deadly Sins. How do you think that Pride could kill you? Is it considered a pride kung makikita natin ang isang tao na umaangat at ginagaya natin o binabasihan natin ang kanyang pag-angat?
Proverbs 22:6 - Ano ang ibig sabihin ng pagtuturo sa mga bata 'in the way he should go'? Is it simply teaching rules, or is it more about showing them through our own example? What kind of teaching are we trying to implement that perhaps we are confident enough to see they don't depart from it (3 Nephi 22:13)?
What is the main message of this proverb, which is sometimes quoted in various contexts but misses the main point? (see verse 30)
Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “To every thing there is a season.” What can waiting teach us?
Ecclesiastes 3:4 — “A time to weep, and a time to laugh.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4 — “He that observeth the wind shall not sow.” Paano tayo minsan nagiging parang taong naghihintay ng “perfect conditions” bago kumilos? What good thing might we never accomplish if we keep waiting for the perfect time?
Ecclesiastes 12:13 — “Fear God, and keep his commandments.”
Ecclesiastes 12:14 — “God shall bring every work into judgment.”
What helps you have the courage to say 'NO', when sometimes you think it would make a difference for good or sometimes bad in a sense that you will be left alone or in shame or mocked?
Is it okay to get engaged and take part? Why or why not?
Proverbs 4:18 - ok, so kunting explanation muna: Ang 'path of the just' or righteousness or covenant keeper, which is the point nitong verse, at Sabi pa nya ay parang 'shining light' na lalong lumiliwanag unto the 'perfect day'. So the question is - Kailangan ba nating maging perfect as instructed by the scriptures bago masabing nating nasa tamang path tayo, o sapat na ang patuloy na pag-progress? Bakit kaya? Does the Path of Progression lead to Perfection? Example: the life of being married is not and will never be perfect, but it is leading the couple towards progression, experience, commitment, and growth. But again, it will never be perfect. So how will this verse make sense to these principles?
Proverbs 15:1 - “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” Ecclesiastes 1:2 - "Vanity of vanities; all is vanity."
