2025 Bustillo and Nuñez Gathering

Photos taken during our brief visit to Palompon, Leyte. I couldn't provide a full detail in chronological order since it would have taken too much time and effort, but here it is. Wish to have more time with them someday.

To the viewer who sees it irrelevant, this is just a Personal Collection of Blogs and People, as stated in my YouTube Channel. You may skip the part you don't want to see.

So let's start on day one 'til we head back to Zambales. Pictures were created for a wider screen, so it might take some time to load the image. So, here we go -

August 14, 2025 - Palompon, Leyte. It's actually Fiesta in Barangay Tinubdan, Palompon, Leyte, and here we are with some of our relatives and some places we visit. It's fun with mixed emotions. Sa bisaya pa "Wa ko kasabot". Took some pictures with my brothers, who were with our family, and it's fun to know other family members as well.

Mangadto ta ninyo ug Dose (12 Kilometer). So another Adventure of the day. Here we took some time traveling from Main Palompon to Dose. While riding some POTPOT, we headed to the Terminal to ride a bus or a trike to get there. I grab some pictures of them, and then we make our way to the mountain, LOL. Something's telling me of the place where I remember those times my grandfather (Lolo Pino) used to have a hut and some fragments of memory where I got there (Just like 'Ho, Pino, inum ta tuba!') and learn from their experience. Actually, I never learn. While we got there, there's too much commotion happening LOL!. Daghan mga nahitabo ba. Kalisod pud uy. Such as we ate some fruit from the trees, like coconut, some others like buongon, santol, bayabas, abot kung unsa pa tong uban. Then there's my son, who has his own adventure. He did handle a huge Orb-weaver commonly in their place, which is Golden-silk; I forgot to take a picture of him handling that thing. Kapuya bataa, gigunitan man noon pwerting dakua sa damang.

Some preparations, as we celebrated a late birthday of Ante Rose, we then climbed a hill to get some Luy-a (Genger). Mao man siguro na. The uphill was too tough and we slipped. I slipped badly, and even my wrist got hurt as I made a stunning ninja movement, LOL. Dalin-as lagi, hala pagkiat pa.

Happy Fiesta to Tinubdan, Palompon, Leyte. And it will be our last gathering with the Gangs.
Right after a short celebration and picture taking, we decided to have a beach outing with them. I don't have perfect pictures, and some that I gathered were merely shots from the video, so it looks awful.

Good bye and we'll miss all of you. This will be the saddest goodbye since we never knew when we would be able to get together again. I't sad, but it's worth it. We will never know what will happen ahead, but perhaps we could plan to start everything all over again. It will be a lot of preparation, and a lot of things will change. I am hoping to have our family reunion with our cousins, maybe someday we'll never know. I could only guess that it would be hard. Time is precious since we grow older, and we may never know if we could still make it. But it's a good start, where my children knew that they had a family in a distant place. They will soon realize that.

Anyways, here's the finale of our Journey to Leyte, morning at 8-9 am we gather with Aunty Emily, Aunty Liza, and Uncle Endoy to visit our Lolo and Lola, the one who made their Legacy and we're the result (Drama). So here we dagkot kandila ug unya istorya gamay para makaila pa nila.

We hugged and said goodbye to them, hoping we could see our faces again. Then we head to the port to travel to Cebu. And we will be having our new Story on the other side. Part 2 is coming soon.
