This verse refers to Samuel the Lamanite, who was trying to preach to the people of Nephi. However, as we know, he was discriminated against because he was a descendant of the Lamanites, who, in their time, were perceived as less righteous.And now, because I am a Lamanite, and have spoken unto you the words which the Lord hath commanded me, and because it was hard against you, ye are angry with me and do seek to destroy me, and have cast me out from among you. - Helaman 14:10
Personal Insights: Like Samuel, we may face moments where our efforts are dismissed, even when they're for the greater good. And those 'little things' we do for some time, that others overlook, can even create significant change. So, keep doing the right thing for it does matter, even if it seems unappreciated. We never know the great impact ahead.
