I'd seen some TikTok videos and posts regarding their religious practice, especially on women's hair, as they do have long hair, and quoted Paul's Epistle to the Saints at Corinth regarding their cultural and religious practices. Is it really necessary?

Okay, so here we go. This is a good point in stating the standard appearance of worshiping practices or cultural practices. So let's get it on and understand the context -
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
Okay, so what was this all about? Was this all about a strict standard of worshiping God based on the outside appearance of a woman?
What the context says here is about the appropriateness of head coverings and hair length in the cultural setting of the Corinthian church. And Paul suggests that long hair is a natural covering for women and is considered a glory to her, which Paul points out that the covering of the heads while worshiping God is not actually a big deal rather women already has a long hair for a covering, and while on the other hand, for men, long hair is seen as a shame. Yes, of course, since we all know and distinguish women from men through their feminine and masculine forms.
We must understand that these instructions were given in a specific cultural and historical context, and Paul's writing was specifically for the Saints at Corinth who still had that confusion and cultural practices.

For me, and yes, we do agree that women of a feminine nature do have long hair, but God doesn't require it strictly that way like Paul who explains to them that naturally we don't need any cultural standards to maintain our worship, to have their long hair covered their head as their way of worship, since their hair was their glory, and that is that.
You may do whatever might best fit you and the way you worship God, but I don't think God will look at you that way and won't accept you just because of hairs. For me, the principle is about modesty and respect in worship, rather than a strict rule on hair length at all times and places. Paul didn't even say to have it long enough to cover the whole body, but rather a Face Covering like a Veil. The same goes for men; if they have beards, mustaches, or whatever, whether they do or not, it doesn't matter. God will look at your heart, or your inward appearance, as the scripture states (1 Samuel 16:7).
And to add to the conclusion, following verse 16 as it says:
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
So, if we are still thinking this as a way of contention and to confuse the doctrine of God, then obviously, this scripture was meant for you. We should understand that culture and religious beliefs may sometimes disagree on some practices. But we shouldn't allow ourselves to have this disagreement to be a hindrance to our honoring worship of God.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
