I have Proof the Book of Mormon is False?

This has been a classic mental gymnastics to some critics in attempting to dismiss or conclude an argument without further discussion on how they get to such a mentality. Now let's explore some of it with Russell K. Hayes, who thinks things will be fine by simply saying it isn't true, his guts tell him so.

Let's dive in -

So here's how they posted it, and this seems like some kind a Bandwagon Effect. Just because everyone says it it's true/false, then of course it isn't true/false. Okay, so question here: Did the scriptures tell you that way? What happens to the fruit of the spirit here that tells you if it's the right thing or how the Holy Ghost did his job about it in your Home as you'd said it?
Rich Davis opens up a comment asking about his credibility on the matter, and it turns out to be getting clamsy and hilarious. Your Claim of telling everyone if it's true or not doesn't directly link to scriptural context, which has nothing to do with the issue. That is irrelevant and totally absurd. No scripture could tell you yes, it's true, just because it was the words written on it, not knowing the context. Rather, a testimony came from the holy ghost who simply told you it is true or not, because of the thing you did inquire and the Spirit manifested on it. Testimony is not just simply saying you believe just because you are told so or you heard someone say it, but you believe because the spirit gives you light on it. This man didn't even understand the scripture and how the spirit works.

Not at all, see how you simply missed the point. You don't even know how the book of Abraham came out, and trying to see videos, just a side of what you like, doesn't tell you it is true. You're simply saying the exodus doesn't exist just because no evidence proves it without thinking any its plausibility. This kind of commentary is so poorly constructed that it relies on just a source, not even the details of the actual event, and historicity. And how are you gonna construct a good, reliable testimony on that by just watching a YouTube video? Totally absurd.

Let me get to this straight, a testimony is a personal conviction or belief in something, often based on personal experience or spiritual revelation. It is a deep and abiding knowledge of truth that goes beyond mere intellectual understanding. In a religious context, a testimony is a witness to the reality of God, Jesus Christ, and the principles of their gospel.

Obtaining a testimony through the Holy Ghost requires sincere desire, diligent effort, and a willingness to open one's heart to divine guidance. Here are some steps to help cultivate a testimony:
Desire: The first step is to genuinely desire a testimony. We must yearn for the knowledge of truth and be willing to seek it with all our heart.
  • Prayer: We must humbly and sincerely pray to our Heavenly Father for guidance and understanding. We must ask for the Holy Ghost to bear witness to the truth of the gospel.
  • Study: We must diligently study the scriptures and other sources of gospel truth. This includes pondering the words of prophets, attending church meetings, and seeking out spiritual knowledge.
  • Action: We must live by the principles of the gospel and strive to be more Christlike. This includes serving others, obeying the commandments, and developing the fruits of the Spirit.
The fruits of the Spirit, as described in Galatians 5:22-23, are qualities that manifest in the lives of those who are guided by the Holy Ghost. These qualities can help us gain a testimony and live a more Christlike life:
  • Love: Love is the foundation of all spiritual growth. It is a selfless and compassionate concern for the well-being of others.
  • Joy: Joy is a deep and abiding happiness that comes from knowing and living the truth. It is a peace that surpasses understanding and is not dependent on external circumstances.
  • Peace: Peace is a sense of tranquility and harmony that comes from being at one with God and His will. It is a calmness of spirit that helps us weather life's storms.
  • Patience: Patience is the ability to endure trials and difficulties with grace and understanding. It is a willingness to wait upon the Lord and trust in His timing.
  • Kindness: Kindness is a gentle and compassionate attitude towards others. It is a willingness to show mercy and forgiveness, even when it is difficult.
Now ask that question: Are you qualified for that? Does the Spirit tell you it is what it is because you apply the basic principles to obtain the fruit of the Spirit?

Ultimately, a testimony is a gift from God. It is a result of our sincere desire, diligent efforts, and willingness to be guided by the Holy Ghost.

John 16:13 says this -
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
So, how are you gonna reconcile on that, Russell K. Hayes? Does the scripture tell you anything you should do first before obtaining such testimony? Or nah, just leave it and gaslighting all over the web
