Job Bautista's Plagiarism Theory of Noah's Ark copied by Nephi: Fail

He's so obsessed with taking down the LDS doctrine but fails to understand the writings.

Here is another fail study of our best friend Job Bautista. He erroneously compares Noah's Ark to a Ship Nephi Built. Let's go and see his claim. But before that, let's watch the video on actual even about it, and let's see if we can compare it to Noah's Ark.

Let's just go to his funny post, shall we? From Job Bautista Facebook Account -

Ang kasaysayan ni Noe ay muling ginaya ng Bulaang Propeta na si Nephi at pinalitan nalang ang charterer at lugar ng pangyayari. Basahin natin sa aklat ng mga Morons ;

Look how poor and how he miserably failed to understand the scriptures. So let's take a look at the individual settings.

From Noah, we learn that God wants to preserve Noah and his family from the great flood. And this was the plot -

  • He was instructed to build an ark according to God's plan or instructions. According to his referred verses, there are measurements given
  • After it was built, a pair of creatures were joining them on board to preserve its kind or species.
  • The ark was ready for the flood so they stay inside.
  • The flood rises and all the people and every living creature died in the flood.
  • They stayed for 40 days and 40 nights in the flood.
And according to Nephi's account here's how the plot goes -
  • Nephi was instructed to build a ship, though they're already blessed in the Land Bountiful yet the Lord wants them to lead away on that land.
  • They have with their families together, but not eight souls as Noah's days. Their women already bear children.
  • They gathered their food.
  • No, specific kind of Animal they must bring.
  • There is Ocean, not a flood.
  • They journey for no specific number of days.
  • They arrive in the promised land.
I don't see any similarity, except for the vessel they need. Normally, if you want to Travel or avoid not to be drawn in the sea, of course, you need a ship or a vessel to travel you in a safe land.

I don't think it copies the same event as the days of Noah. He thinks he's smart enough in finding errors in the Book of Mormon. Nice try Job Bautista, but you may try it again and find better evidence.
